I was just at giovanni's in Harrisburg and they man that was cooking the food was awesome but there was a young female employee behind the counter who's only job was to play on her cell phone . The man was doing everything . Cooking , cleaning, boxing orders ., waiting on customers. I walked up to her after I tried to use the bathroom to inform her that I wasn't able to use it because there was dried pee on the seat. She then stared at me dumb founded that I even bother her with that , after about 30 seconds she said "sorry" in a very rude tone and looked back down at her cell phone, which she was on the whole time we were there, even though I was still standing in front of her . So I said are you gonna clean it ? Again she stared and the man came over and said she cant because her job is to answer phones since his English wasn't so good . When he was done making food , he went back to Clean the bathroom . During this time I called the store from my cell phone , keeping it hidden so no one could see , and I called the store 3 times . She did not attempt to answer the phone any of the times in question . Her cell phone was the most important thing in the world to her. I thought the sodas were given with the food , didnt realize you could just grab them, and I walked out without my sodas . Went back in and she laughed at me for forgetting my sodas and told me to get out. We were planning on eating there since we had to wait for someone in Harrisburg for the next hour, but after that rude and ignorant behavior we decided to leave and eat in our car . We open the boxes and our stromnolis weren't cut. So now we have food we cant eat, were treated poorly , paid $40 , and have an hour wait plus 45 minute drive home . Worst...
Read moreThis is by far one of the better pizza restaurants in the area . I have enjoyed several items, Italian Subs . And at least once a week their special Stromboli that I consider to be the best in the area . And I live 3 blocks away from 2 other restaurants that I will do a separate review on . So this place is a bit out of our way . But better happy than ticked off and unhappy. Parking is easy. We call in ahead of time. And have never been disappointed with my take out . The Stromboli today was their special one and can feed 3 hungry people easily. It’s not a pizza flipped in half like other places seem to be doing. I’m a dedicated customer here now . And if you’re in the linglestown area I recommend I’m updating and editing this restaurant. I’ve had it at a 5 star place . And I’ve dropped it to a 3 . We got the supreme large pizza and it was horrible. Couldn’t even eat it . No dough . And the pizza came with 20 slices so you couldn’t even get a piece out of the box . I really liked this place so to see another establishment go down hill is a big dissatisfaction. I’ve been a customer since they opened. But like 2 other pizza restaurants the food has gone downhill. My last Stromboli I got a month ago was starting to show the decline. But I always give a second chance. They failed. We will not...
Read moreIf there was a no star option that is what I would be selecting. This happened to be the one place that delivered to our hotel and were told it was decent/good. Please be advised that is FAR from true. Total waste of your time and money to be completely honest. First issue, if you look on their menu in person prices range from .25 cents up to a dollar more than they do if you order online. Second, they wouldn't allow me to order to a hotel online and paid almost $3 more for the same exact order as online as through the phone. Third, we were told 40 minutes well food didn't arrive till about 60-75 minutes later for mind you items that take very little time to prepare. Lastly, the food itself was not worth a dime or the wait. The hamburger looked and tasted as if it was a prefrozen patty just slapped on and super overcooked. The wings were just gross. And the mozzarella sticks were once again nothing special and they were cold along with wet packaging...even though it wasn't raining...? I highly recommend that you steer clear and take the 8-10 minutes to drive to a local food establishment for at least something...
