Circa ‘31 — Restaurant in Luray

Ate here during my stay at the Mimslyn Hotel. The restaurant is very quaint right up my alley. Staff was incredibly nice and did a great job catering to their guests. I personally loved the beef tips -wish there were more mushrooms but the beef was good. And the French Onion soup was amazing hands down my favorite item! I also tried the Stuff portabella and I think it would have been great but it lack salt on the collards and the brie did not cover the mushroom looked like it slid off to one side so that side was amazing while the other was a little blan. But I'd try it again! Again staff amazing Rayanne, Patience, the hostess (sorry for your name) they were all fantastic. We came to Luray on our honeymoon and Circa '31 was our last hurrah, romantic dinner together before heading back home. Our server DeAwna made our night more than we could've asked for. The service was impeccable and her friendly yet professional conduct completely made our night even more special. Melissa is who we talked to on the phone prior to arriving and if it wasn't for her phone presence we may not have come at all. But GOSH are we glad we did!! If you are in the area do yourself a favor and stop by the Mimslyn Inn and check out Circa '31. You will be glad you did. If you're lucky and DeAwna is working that day, request her. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!!!! After spending the day at Luray Cavern, we found this place online. The menu was different than what's shown online, Clue #1. We placed an order for wings, fries & drink. We got our drinks while waiting on food. Tea was blah, Clue #2. Once we got our food, even though we placed 2 separate wing orders (5 pcs & 8 pcs) we each got 8 pcs that included a drumstick!! I ordered wings NOT drumsticks!
