This was absolutely awful. First, it took over an hour for our order to arrive. When it finally did, it was cold. Second, the pizza was suppose to have extra cheese. It had so little cheese, that most of it was exposed dough with hardly any sauce.
When I called to complain and asked for a refund, I was told I had to bring it to the store. So, after waiting over an hour for food that was cold and partially incorrect, I now had to load my kids in the car to bring the pizza in, just to get a refund. Which completely defeats the purpose of paying for delivery.
When I arrived to the store, I gave them the pizza and asked for a refund for the order because it took so long and was cold, and remake of the pizza. I was told I could get a refund or remake, but not both, because it was "policy".
It is completely absurd and unacceptable to expect patrons to choose between cold food or a refund. Hiding behind their "policies" and offering subpar discounts to "make it right" doesn't come close to what should have been done to rectify the situation. They proudly boast that they're proud of their product and care about their patrons. My experience this evening does not give any evidence of that.
I own a food service business. I understand mistakes happen. The mistakes aren't the issue here. The issue is that I was expected to pay for crappy service and food or go without. It is completely unacceptable. I will never again be a patron of this establishment and I well absolutely not be recommending this store to any of my friends, family, or business colleagues. Nor will I be ordering their pizza any longer for our company events. We will be taking our patronage elsewhere and recommending...
Read moreI ordered two pizzas online and picked them up a couple of hours later. At the counter when I paid, I paid for two garlic sauces and two ranch sauces. I was given my pizza and went on my way. When I got to my destination I realized the sauces weren't there but the pizza was perfect, so called to get a refund just for the $2 of sauce (my coworkers helped pay for this pizza and I did not want them to pay for more than what we got).
I was handed over to a manager who looked up my purchase and then rather rudely told me "your whole transaction was voided", so I made sure to say that paying for the pizza is totally fine I just wanted a refund for the $2. Again he rudely said, as if this was what I was wanting but not saying it, that the whole order was "taken care of". I was still confused as to why and said "okay" hesitatingly, but he then immediately said "okay? Have a good day" and hung the phone up on me.
I guess it was nice to not have to pay for it, but I absolutely wanted to pay for the pizza I recieved. I had just been disappointed by the lack of sauce I paid for and that is all. The way I was treated was as if I was demanding free stuff which is not he case; I worked retail and would never behave that way. Long story short, did not get what I paid for, but then was rudely given the pizza I did paid...
Read moreThis place used to be pretty good. Now, unless your order is over about $18, they will not deliver it to you. What good are $6.99, $7.99, and $9.99 "coupons" if they refuse to deliver your order? They already charge a "delivery fee" over and above a tip to the driver. Isn't the "delivery fee" supposed to cover the cost of delivery? Also, I have over 400 "reward points." That should be 6 "free" pizzas. What good are the "points" if they refuse to deliver the pizzas they claim to owe me. Furthermore, I earned these "rewards" and "free" pizzas BEFORE they changed their delivery policy; therefore, they remain legally obligated to meet any promises made under the conditions and understandings that prevailed at the time of the original purchase. And one of those conditions was that they would deliver their product if I agreed to pay a delivery fee and it must be noted that there was NO monetary minimum order amount required at that time. Maybe a call to the Virginia State Corporation Commission or the Federal Trade Commission will help resolve this issue. Until then, I'll keep rating them as poorly as possible on any platform I can find until this situation...
