McDonald's — Restaurant in Lynchburg

The entire staff of the late night shift, specifically around 1:15 AM, on September 14, needs to be reprimanded. Besides the fact that they're all extremely high off drugs...the attitude and carelessness is disheartening. I am never returning after tonight.

I Ordered a Number 7 (double cheeseburger) combo with a medium fry. And a Mcdouble combo. Drove all the way home. Opened it up to find a smooshed, soggy, disgusting burger, and a 10 piece chicken nugget!!?? (How in the world did chicken nuggets come into the equation with my order)

Drove all the way back, and waited at the drive thru for 12 minutes (counted) while the bald dude with the facial hair preceded to pretend to not see me, and poorly wiped down a drink machine in the same spot with a dirty brown rag. He looked me dead in the eye, and just walked away. I came back around again, to set off the speaker sensor, to which a girl finally answered. I kindly asked for a refund and to return the food. The girl in the camo jacket, upon sighing and rolling her eyes, said "I can't touch that" when I tried to get her to look at the condition of the order. To top it all off (best part) she told me that it wasn't possible for me to exchange for the correct food, because the system was down. She then told me she couldn't give a refund, because she "didn't have a code". What does that even mean? A code??? Seriously? She said there was nothing she could do. It got so ridiculous that I just laughed and left. I paid $17 for a VERY incorrect order, and to then be denied a refund, or service. I will NEVER eat at this McDonald's again. I have had mcdonalds all over the USA, East Asia, and western europe. And this truly is the worst I've ever seen.

I tried to give them another chance after the whole "our system is down" thing that lasted all of 2021-2022 whenever they didn't want to do their Jobs past 10pm. Good riddance wards mcdonalds! You dug...

I visited this location a day or two after Christmas 2022. I went in with my grown son to get some food. The drive-through was busy, and the manager(?) I assume because she was dressed differently ....asked us to use the kiosk to order. I've never used those much and didn't see what I wanted to order on there. I stepped back to the counter as I would've rather placed my order there. After standing there for about 2 to 3 minutes, with no one even acknowledging that we were standing there, I hear the manager(?) from the back yell to me, "Use the kiosk....I don't have time to take your order." Stunned, I replied, "You're kidding, right? To which she responded, "No, I'm not kidding." I find it extremely rude and unprofessional for a manager to tell a paying customer that they don't have time to assist us. She didn't even say it would be a few minutes...it was just blatantly said that she didn't have time to deal with us. There was a much more professional way she could've handled that, yet she chose to yell at me from the back of the store. We took our business elsewhere that day, and I will never step foot back in...

I haven't been in a McDonalds since before the pandemic. I had so many bad experiences I gave up on them. Today I was with a friend that insisted on going to McDonalds so we stopped at the Wards Rd location. Had two deluxe quarter pounder meals and two ice cream cones for desert. I was shocked! They let me order at the register since I couldn't see the menu from where the kiosks were. The cashier was very helpful and I was not traumatized with the computer. The meals were exactly what I ordered, nothing missing, nothing substituted, they were delivered to our table hot and very quickly and miracle of all miracles tasted good! After our lunch we opted for an ice cream cone each. The ice cream machine was working, which usually isn't the case at our local McD's, and the ice cream was the perfect viscosity, not soft and dripping, it stayed on the cone until we finished it. The cones were perfectly made and a real treat. The whole meal was the best I have ever experienced at a McDonalds. I had sworn off McDonalds but I will most likely go back to this one when I am...
