This place is very new, but has a wonderful vibe to it. The map might show that nothing is there, but it's only because it is newly built. The staff appear to be mostly new people, but they work hard and treat the customers very well.
Some of the reviews so far have talked about how slowly they have been, but this is probably mostly because of the newer baristas. But, given a short amount of time, I'm sure they'll hit their stride and provide a quickness of service that matches their wonderfully amiable staff.
As an example of their quality service toward their customers, I had to wait a while for my mobile order, only to realize that I had chosen an option to pick it up through the drive-thru instead, and when I realized this, it has already been a while after they had made it and set it near the register at the drive-thru window. When I asked about my drink, which was a triple Espresso, Zach, one of the baristas, went and got it for my very quickly. I asked how long it had been sitting over there, he said he didn't know and offered to pull me another, fresher one. This is the kind of quality service I have come to expect from Starbucks, and which was clearly shown to me on this occasion, as well.
On a different note, the photos with this review show the beautifully-designed interior that I have seen in many other Starbucks, and happens to be one of my favorite, as the seating on the side looks out into the store, which I like. It also has two sections of chairs around a central fire-pit-style round table and a long meeting/gathering table in the middle, as well as a bar in front of the Cold Brew station. This structure is incredibly nice and inviting, as it allows for a variety of individual needs and purposes when coming inside of Starbucks to spend some time, whether working or...
Read moreWent today and the drive through was wrapped into wards road traffic so I parked and went inside. I was the only person in line to order and I ordered a large iced coffee. Nothing with espresso, no fancy drinks, nothing. I was left waiting for over half an hour for an iced coffee. Multiple customers came in after me and ordered drinks and food. A whole party of 6 was served drinks and food after me. I attempted multiple times to get a baristas attention but was ignored. Eventually once there was a drive through lull I was asked by the same woman who took my order, very rudly I might add, what I was waiting for. I said I was still waiting on my coffeee I ordered. She turned around and walked away without saying anything. Another 5 minutes or so goes by when another woman brings me my coffee and slides it at me across the counter. It wasn't what I asked for. But I'd already spent over half an hour waiting for it so I just left. In my experience at this location everyone is rude to the customers that come inside. If you have time to wait in the drive through I would recommend that. I've only ever had an issue going inside. I understand that drive through is timed but you should still be polite and courteous to the people who...
Read moreThere are those who possess the skill to turn an ordinary experience into an unforgettable one. Lina is one such person, the best barista I know, who has the ability to transform a simple drink into a magical elixir that tantalizes the senses and leaves one craving for more. Her Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino is testament to this fact - a frappuccino that is not just addictive, but also deliciously poisonous in its indulgence. Matt and Justin are also worthy of mention, as they too have the ability to make every drink a tasty one. These three extraordinary persons have the power to brighten up anyone's day, and I strongly recommend that you give a try to Linaâs magic! I must confess, I have not yet to come across baristas who can match the skills of Lina at other Starbucks around NC, VA & DC
