If I could choose zero stars, I would. I looked up Papa John's on google maps & right under the name, clicked "order delivery". I didn't realize until the order was completed that the order went through the company "Postmates" instead of Papa John's directly. It was more money through Postmates as well. I received my order confirmation at 6:08. They have on their site 30 min delivery. Not true! After waiting an hour, I called Papa John's. They said they didn't have my order in the system and couldn't help me. Postmates gives no contact info. The tracker kept saying that it would be delivered in a few min, but every time you looked at it, those minutes kept getting pushed back. Total joke! We ended up eating something else for dinner. The pizza finally arrived at 8:45. The delivery girl said that she picked the pizza up hours ago, but her company told her that she couldn't deliver it until she had all of her orders in hand. When she brought the pizza, it wasn't even in a warming bag & the garlic butter had already solidified. Totally unacceptable! Now trying to contact them for a refund is another joke. You have to go through the Postmates' app and send a complaint that way. Who knows if they'll send me an email back. I called the store to inquire on my order and I was told that the driver called my cell phone and knocked on my door. Clearly the driver made a mistake and contacted another customer as I sat on my couch, next to my door with my phone by my side and never received a call or a knock on my door. Once I spoke with the associate that corrected my order, I was very relieved and impressed with his level of customer service. He apologized for the error, contacted the driver and kept me updated every step. He offered to remake a new pizza and would send out the next available driver. I received my order at exactly 40 minutes as promised and had no errors. Literally the minute my pizza was delivered, the same associate made a follow-up call to make sure I had received my order and offered a 15% discount to be applied to a future order. He apologized again and was very professional and empathetic. How that associate handled the situation made all the difference in the world. Read moreUndercooked/ Raw pizza. I ordered last week from the hourstbourne location. I got a stuffed crust calzone pizza because it was new and looked so good online. My partner gets home to eat and bit into raw crust. Hardly cooked on the outside and completely raw inside. I called and spoke to the manager, he apologized for my “sub-par” pizza and told me I could get a remake next time I came in. I just went to get my remake, a different pizza at that, and again it was undercooked. Better than last time- but a decently thick layer of undercooked dough through the middle of the slice. I work in a pizza place so I know firsthand what a pizza consistency should be. I fed a toddler this pizza, I shouldn’t have to check these things especially when ordering from a chain like papa John’s.
