Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews — Restaurant in Clinton Township

Stopped in here this evening with my family and mother, for a nice Sunday meal. There were seven of us, but we were seated promptly, when we got there around 5:15. Our server was Jessica, and though it was obvious she was busy, she was quite good. She was friendly, attentive, and even offered promotionally good comments about the house fare. We ordered our drinks, a tier if onion rings and two sides of fries to start. Everything was hot and tasty. Onion rings were crisp. And all came out within a reasonable time. I will say, i ordered a Labatts Blue light, but they only had Labatts regular. I graciously accepted the amendment. My meal was the Burning Love burger. I ordered the Yukon chips with the burger, per Jessica's advice. The burger was fine too medium, just as i had asked, and very tasty. The child, though good, were chips. They were similar to Ruffles, but a little brother, and not as salty. The burger was served with deep fried jalapeno rings, as well as pepper jack cheese, and can't with a roasted jalapeno sitting on top. Ask was tasty. I did have to flash down Jessica just once, to get more i lemonades for my boys, although she found me before my beer was gone, and promptly refreshed my empty hand. The rest of my pay also enjoyed their fare. They had burgers, and crispy chicken sandwiches. The only drawback to this whole experience, and yes, I am aware of the your of restaurant this is, but it was quite noisy. It wasn't packed, but the decide level from sitting tables did seem to ring out. I could not hear my mother, who was at the opposite end of my same table. Nonetheless, aside from this, i have no other complaints about the dining experience. Tasty food, prompt, attentive and friendly service, and reasonable prices. I would definitely return....

The taste of my burger eh, so-so. Just a regular burger lettuce tomato mayo and a egg on it. No seasoning no flavor but it was NOT nasty it's just a straight up cheeseburger nothing fancy.

The actual star of my meal was the sweet potato fries and I was told they were unlimited although I did not get a second order and I'm kind of sad about that. They just forgot to send them to me. I didn't want to make a fuss about it and cause any issues so I just said forget it. I really did enjoy them it would have liked seconds. Highly recommend them.

They were thin cut and very delicious piping hot I love them more than anything.

Mudpie dessert was DECENT. The lemonade/strawberry cake was DECENT.

Let me be clear both desserts were NOT nasty (Me and my daughter shared them.) She actually LOVED them. Her favorite was lemonade strawberry cake. They are LARGE pieces and worth the money. I definitely recommend that you try both of these desserts. I'm more of a hot fudge brownie sundae kind of dessert. Hopefully they'll add something like that to the menu in the future.

I think next time I'll try a different burger with some different toppings to try to get something more flavorful. But again the burger was NOT nasty it was just a straight-up plain cheeseburger with a egg cooked how you like it. That's a burger I've eaten the last 20 plus years. It was familiar and that's why I ordered it to be on a safe side.

Definitely not worth the $70 my family spent eating out. We would’ve been better off going somewhere nicer for that price. We ordered drinks and my toddlers lemonade had food chunks on the cup. my fiancé took a sip of her drink and ended up chewing on something, thinking it was a fruit seed from the drink…but it wasn’t. Then I get this sangria (picture) and mind you, IT WAS DELICIOUS hence why it’s gone lol, but was definitely not what is shown in the picture. It was supposed to be a in a stemless wine glass (10oz) and it came in a white wine glass(8oz). Plus not filled fully anyway. Now I asked for a new drink for my child, but didn’t say anything about my drink because it tasted great, just very disappointed. Then the waitress was not as attentive as I would have liked her to be. Us adults were done with our food and ready by the time I could for ranch for my toddler. She finally brings the bill and ready to pay and wonder if we bring it up front or not. I’m thinking, “I see all the other servers but mine..where could she be hiding?” My fiancé found her and she was scrolling on her phone sitting at the bar. Now I was passive about everything until Im about to walk out and I see her at the bar on her phone… a waitress is supposed to be informative on drinks and food on the menu and PAY ATTENTION to the drinks and food they bring to the table.
