Fallline Brewery in Macon really knows how to throw down for Georgia Beer Day, and this year was no exception. It's like the whole place buzzes with a love for all things beer, making it the perfect spot to celebrate a day that's all about Georgia's craft brews. From the moment you step in, you're hit with this vibe that's part local hangout, part beer lover's paradise. The folks at Fallline went all out for the occasion, rolling out a lineup of beers that was nothing short of a love letter to brewing. They've got everything from punchy IPAs that wake up your taste buds to stouts so rich and smooth, they're like dessert in a glass. It's clear the team behind these brews is passionate about what they do; each beer feels like a carefully crafted masterpiece, balancing flavors and aromas that just make you want to savor every drop. But what makes Fallline Brewery stand out isn't just the killer beer; it's the whole atmosphere. The place is decked out with nods to Macon's history and arts scene, making it feel like a celebration of the community as much as it is a brewery. It's the kind of spot where everyone ends up chatting, laughing, and sharing stories over a pint. On Georgia Beer Day, it felt like the whole town showed up to support, taste some amazing beer, and just have a great time. The highlight? Seeing everyone from beer aficionados to curious newbies come together, united by their love for craft beer and local vibes. Fallline Brewery nailed it, offering a taste of what makes Georgia's beer scene so special, and making everyone feel like part of the family. If you missed out this year, make sure to mark your calendar for the next Georgia Beer Day. Trust me, you don't want to miss out on the fun (or the beer) at Fallline Brewery.

Edited: Today was our second trip. The beer wasn’t as good as the last trip, and one of my pours had a significant amount of head when it was served to me. The food was still excellent though! I did have an odd moment which is prompting my edited review. They have a sign up that says “write a review and get a free beer”. I had written a very positive review from my previous trip just cause it was a good experience. Didn’t do it for a free beer. Mostly joking I asked the beer-tender if you actually got a beer for writing a review. She said yes at which point I mentioned I had written a rather positive review on my last trip at Fall Line. I was then informed they have to see the review before posting it then I could get a free beer. I declined to write a new one, but will gladly change this one. Next time I’m coming through Macon I won’t being going to Fall Line. There’s another spot down the road that we found back in February when we stopped and Fall Line was closed. It was really good will now be my Macon lunch stop when traveling through the area. Next time I’m there I’ll write a review on that experience. Going to leave my previous review posted. Just made our first trip to this brewery. First thing right off the bat we were greeted with a very friendly guy behind the bar. He started by welcoming us, and asking what kind of beer we like. He gave us a few tasters, and he was very pleasant. I ended up going with an Oktoberfest, and it was fantastic. We ordered food as we stopped for dinner also and the same guy at the bar recommended the brisket sandwich to me, so I went with his recommendation. It was excellent, and halfway through dinner I had the Hazy which was also very good. The thing I kept noticing was how nice the staff was when I interacted with them. Even the kitchen staff when I went to get our food was very friendly (you pick your food up from the kitchen window towards the back when your pager goes off). Really liked the atmosphere of the place too, and the building itself was pretty cool. Great experience at this brewery, and will happily stop again next time I’m traveling through Macon.

Love, love, love, fall line brewing! Super cool building on the edge of downtown, easy to park, with a great outdoor area, especially nice as it gets dark with lights strung up overhead and an amazing fire pit if you’re there when it’s cool. Corn hole, room to run for the kids, and really really great beer, both in individual quality and selection and variety. Good to go selection usually also. Food is good as well. They do serve wine for non-beer drinkers though it would be really cool if they could add a Cider (If anyone out there is listening). Staff is always super nice, happy to let you taste if you’re not sure what to pick. Overall, fall line ranks up there among the best small breweries I have visited anywhere in the country. Always a highlight of any trip to Macon to visit family. Did I mention I love this place?!

Great atmosphere, great beer and great food! Got a flight of four beers: the Fall Line Lager, Cloudbreaker IPA, Gator and the Seasonal Belgian Red. Each were tasty but the Cloudbreaker was a standout as a traditional IPA. Wife and I ordered the loaded chips appetizer that was basically smoked brisket, cheese sauce, red onion and barbecue sauce on top of fresh kettle chips - very good with a smoky and sweet taste. I had the ‘Roast Beast’ weekly special sandwich. Very well prepared with grilled and seasoned roast beef covered in melted cheese and grilled red onion. It paired really well with the beers. My wife got an interesting twist on a BLT that was also great. Had nice open floor plan with a sizable outdoor seating area with a fire pit and cornhole. Overall I’d highly recommend it if in the area.

We were heading from the coast back to Atlanta, and we had to stretch our legs, so I did some Googling. Nice find! I really liked the tangerine wheat called Daily Rind. We even took some home. Although I wanted to mix it up, so I had a Macon Margarita. Both were light and refreshing. We got a sample of Midnight Munchies, oatmeal raisin cookie stout, but it wasn't what we were imagining. My husband liked the Octoberfest Marzen, and much to my shaking head, the Seed and Scald, which was a habernaro watermelon gose. Not my thing, but he really liked it. I loved the vibe of the place, old brick and industrial with a little bit of wood. There's plenty of seating inside and out with street parking, but not in a busy area, so it wasn't to hard to jump back on 75.

I recently had a fantastic time at Fall Side Brewing Company in Macon, downtown Georgia. The vibe there is simply awesome, and I found myself relaxing by the cozy fireplace. But what truly stood out were the delicious chips served with mayo and deli sauce - an absolute must-try with your beer! If you’re unsure about which beer to choose, don’t hesitate to ask for a taste. We opted for the peach-flavored beer, and it was a delightful choice. The place was bustling with families, all enjoying their time. I’d highly recommend visiting before winter sets in to make the most of this great spot!
