Your Pie Pizza — Restaurant in Macon

I'm only giving it 4 stars right now because this was my first time. If future visits stack up to this one then it will go to 5. It was my first time in this establishment and I was very impressed. It's clean and very tastefully done on the inside. It's easy to make sense out of a very appealing menu. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and there were plenty of them. The ingredients were all very fresh and very tastefully presented. And everything tasted really really good. That's the bottom line for a restaurant, right? Their pizzas are sized perfectly I think... if you're a couple that wasn't going to eat a lot like we were they're perfect to share. if I went by right after a workout and was really hungry then one would be perfect for me.

The delivery of the food to our table was fast and friendly.

And for a large salad, a pizza, and two drinks to come in at around twenty bucks is unbelievable.

Granted that didn't include alcohol but still.

My only slight complaint is that there aren't individual plates bowls and silverware readily available. They were brought quickly when we asked, but I really don't think I needed to ask for a plate to put my pizza on.

if you're anywhere near downtown Macon on poplar Street and you're looking for a pizza I wouldn't look...

I had high hopes for this place coming from out of town. I ordered through Uber Eats and it was pretty simple to order. Had a lot of options and was craving pasta. When I received my order I immediately noticed the first thing that was wrong with the order. I ordered a bottled water and instead I received a cup with ice and some of the fountain water. Paid $2.40 for tap water. I then open the box and noticed that I didn’t get a fork or any type of utensils to be able to eat my food. Then I looked at the food and thought there was not enough cheese. I gave it the benefit of doubt and try to move the food around to see if maybe it got baked into it but there was very few pieces of cheese and some of it was not melted. On Uber eats I specifically chose marinara and it gives you an option to select up to 2 sauces. I also picked basil pesto which I was excited for. No basil pesto. I also chose 2 meats, pepperoni and bacon. I didn’t get either. I noticed that on the receipt some of the options I chose on Uber Eats were not listed on the receipt. Not sure if that’s a glitch with Uber Eats or with the restaurant. This meal was a disappointment to say the least...

Your Pie Pizza of Downtown Macon is a good choice if you are in the mood for pizza. The crust has great texture but lacking a bit in flavor. That doesn't really take away from pizza too much though. The sauce is good. It has a nice tanginess and fresh taste.

The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and attentive considering I've never been to a Your Pie ever before. The store itself is very clean but it is opening day, so we will see how that holds up with time.

I kept my pizza very basic so I could judge the fundamentals and basic foundation of what makes a pizza and I was happy overall.

Now at normal price of a bit over $8 for each pizza, I can see it being a bit pricey for families depending on how much everyone can eat. If my wife, two kids and I were to go there it would be at minimum just a bit above $40 total for all of us and that only if everyone got their own pizza and a soda.

Is this the best pizza I've ever had? No. Is it a good place for pizza in Macon? Yes Would I go here again? Sure
