In the bustling streets of Macon, Georgia, where the aroma of freshly brewed coffee mingles with the whispers of creativity, there lies a haven for the discerning soul: Taste & See Coffee Shop and Gallery.
Entering this sanctuary, one is immediately enveloped by an atmosphere that transcends mere caffeination. The walls adorned with the owner’s photography of earth’s natural wonders, the gentle hum of conversation, and the scent of roasted beans combine to create an ambiance that is as invigorating as it is inspiring.

Each cup of coffee, a masterpiece in its own right, is meticulously prepared by skilled hands, ensuring that every sip is a journey of discovery, and a celebration of flavor.
Yet, it is not only the coffee that captivates the palate, but also the delectable pastries and treats that accompany it. From the richness of the scones to the indulgent sweetness of the cheesecake, each bite is a testament to the artistry and dedication of the bakers who grace this establishment.
In a world where convenience often trumps quality, Taste & See remains steadfast in their commitment to excellence, a beacon of creativity and community in the heart of Macon. I was okay with leaving after you said no outside food, but you began to insult us and embarrass us after you said no outside food. You are very nasty and I hope you are dealt with when I get in contact with the actual owner.
I was just at your shop with a friend studying. We have been coming for a while and the service and food has always been great until today. I am a black female as well as my associate who was with me. We attend Middle georgia state university, who you partner with. We left and came back to study at the shop with some food from outside. The manager approached us with a very nasty and unprofessional attitude towards us. She made it clear that we could not have outside food in the shop. I completely understood that and started to pack up my lunch. She then continues to be rude and disrespectful by saying we were sneaking in the facility and she also proceeds to say that we cannot sit in there because it isn’t a “public library”. The way she said these things to us was so nasty and disrespectful. She then says that you all have bills to pay and so forth. She then proceeds to say we are stealing wifi when it clearly says “guest wifi”. This is not everything she said but these are the things she said to us which really made it seem racially profiling. It was very embarrassing and saddening to be kicked out along with the rude things she said to us. I am very disappointed with her service. She did not give me a name. Anna was very respectful and had very great hospitality towards us. I really appreciated her hospitality but the manager was very disrespectful. I cannot express...

I'll break down why it is so great more specifically below.
Drinks/food: They offer some nice light options when it comes to food. Breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and sweets. While I cannot say I have tried any food they have the coffee is some of the absolute best I have ever had. I am a huge coffee snob. I have a french press, pour over kit, and only buy whole beans to grind right before making any coffee. They have a lot of options ranging from standard espresso variants to their own custom creations. Try the Maple Leaf for something on the sweeter side.
Coffee: The coffee itself has a more earthy almost nutty flavor. They will also offer you three roast options if you would like for things like their pour over. They get their beans from a local Georgian company though I cannot remember which.
Atmosphere and staff: The decor is very clean yet rustic. They display artwork from a local photographer that is absolutely gorgeous. It is up for purchase too if you feel so inclined. The owners are Christian and so they do play Christian music when music is playing. Though it is never to loud or distracting and unless you were listening for it you might not even know. There is also plenty of seating inside including some couches and high tables. There is also a very cute patio area with some nice water fountains.
Overall this coffee shop is a must if you want a quiet place to relax and grab a delicious...
