Apple Lane Farms — Restaurant in Madison

Apple Lane Farms is an absolute favorite "go-to" lunch locations. My employer uses them occasionally to offer us their ham sandwich box lunch for "All Hands" or "Lunch & Learns." We're always stoked to see them because we all know it comes with a wonderful banana pudding ; -). This establishment is not a stand alone structure but can easily be found within the shopping strip...far to the right of Walmart. It is easily accessible from Madison Blvd and offers plenty of parking. There is not tons of seating inside but I've never not had a seat/table available. I am always pleasantly surprised with their extremely high health inspection rating score never seen below the high 90s...once I saw 99. You can't beat their stuffed ham sandwiches. Give it a try...you won't be disappointed. Enjoy!

Applelane Farms had always been one of my favorite places to get quality ham and sandwiches. I stopped by the Decatur store on 03/18/2023 and ordered a pound of sliced ham. The young lady took my order while an older lady preped and packaged my order . Everything went quick and smooth . The older lady brought my order out to me, I thought it was kind of strange it was in a to go sandwich container instead of the usual tin foil package. When I got home and opened it up, There was not one slice all there was in the container was a pound of ham scraps . I was so very disappointed even thought of going back and returning it to get my money back but since I live in Huntsville and had purchased the ham in Decatur just couldn't justify driving the distance. My wife and I made our sandwiches with the scraps of tasty ham, but from now on I will open the package before...

NOT Just a "Ham Sandwhich"!!! If you blink you will miss it. Apple Lane in Madison looks from the outside like another retail store in the Walmart shopping center off Madison Blvd. BUT, when you walk in the cleanliness and wonderful auroma will hit you first. They have a small but courteous, quick, informed & patient wait staff. Do yourself a favor and add "The Club" to go, regardless what you get to eat right then. You will not be disappointed tomorrow, and maybe the day after that! Their homemad honey mustard is the only thing any sandwich needs. The amount of meat they pile on your sandwich will have you asking any other restaurant where's the meat!! They also cater, with no delivery charge! This is a must have if your in Madison, but dont delay because they don't...
