Tenders — Restaurant in Madison

We went to Tenders just the other night, and the service was terrible. We've been there a ton of times, but this was our first time going there at night time, it was around 8pm. I've never seen such sloppy, rude service somewhere other than cheap fast food in a bad part of town. First, my friend payed with a $20 bill and the cashier was so busy tallking that she tried giving back a $1 bill instead of $11. We ordered mild wings and payed an extra $1 to get all flat wings for my friend. Once again the cashier was too busy talking and did not tell the people making the food to make them mild or flats. They gave us almost all drums and the scent was so extremely strong; they were the highest level of spicy. I took them back politely and let her know that we payed extra money for flats and that they needed to be mild. They had a huge attitude about it and they argued in the back about it with the cooks for so long. When we got the food back, they were rude again. Guess what...they just wiped the sauce off of the wings and tried covering them with mild sauce. They were too LAZY to prepare new wings! They hand wiped spicy sauce off of wings and covered them up with other sauce. That is a major health code violation! And one of the wings was ice cold. This place is pathetic at night time and I am reporting them to Steritec for a health code inspection. I have heavy experience with health codes and food industry, so I can't wait to see how this plays out. Never go to this place in the evening.

Conclusion: Rude, lazy, clumsy, and...

Just left this tenders and I am thoroughly disappointed, not only in the food but also in the audacity of the cook to try to cover up the food quality. I ordered 20 wings 10 smoked and 10 honey gold. They could barely hear the order and we had to repeat it 3 times. Then when we got home (which was 30 min away) the smoked wings were burnt. At first glance they looked ok but as I began to pick them up they were burned on the other side. So they took the time to place them in the box such that the burnt areas were not showing. I guess they thought I wouldn’t notice all the smoked wings were burnt. So we called 3 times & no answer so I am leaving this review. I would have given them the opportunity to correct it but they didn’t answer and also this tenders is 30 minutes from me and it was too inconvenient to turn around to drive them back. This wasn't bad but it definitely wasn't impressive. I wouldn't eat here again. The sprite had ice filled all the way to the top. The picture provided is after I finished drinking my large and there was still a lot of ice left. The sprite also tasted like it had dirty water in it and it didn't have a strong tangy carbonated kick. The chicken fingers weren't anything special. They reminded me of frozen chicken fingers I can get from the store and make myself. The dipping sauce was good though. It definitely made the fingers taste better. The crinkle fries were good. The toast was soggy, my wifes was crunchy like toast so I think mine toast was pre-made sitting in a warmer possibly and hers was fresh. not sure. My wings were good. I got the honey golden sauce. The wings didn't have a ton of sauce though i wish they would have had more because it would have made them much better. overall not a place that impressed me enough to want to...
