Firehouse Subs Madison — Restaurant in Madison

Let me start by saying that I love Firehouse and their subs and respect the volunteer work they do with donations to the local communities (which is the only reason I set to 2 stars instead of 1), but this evening was disappointing to the utmost. The order placed was a simple order. 2 of the small hook and ladders, one with chopped pickled and mayo and the other with just mayo and 1 smokehouse brisket fully involved with everything. What I received was the first listed sandwich and then the other hook and ladder fully involved and just mayo on the smokehouse. When telling the young man that broight us the food that it was incorrect he said regarding the smokehouse "Adding mayo is fully involved for that sandwich" and would only fix my child's hook and ladder. To top it off when you order one of these sandwiches they typically have a good portion of meat that fills the sandwich. All 3 had very minimal meat on them and it certainly didn't fill the expanse of the bread. Again, I love this chain and usually donate to the rounding up to the next dollar to the foundation, which wasn't offered at all at time of payment, but this evening was highly disappointing. For this location I will not be stopping here again. May management please retrain the young staff as to the proper way to make the food for this locations sake and the franchise names reputation.

Side note: Oh yes, before I forget, can you PLEASE put actual soap in the ladies room dispenser? Washing my hands and them smelling of men's body wash isn't...

Firehouse almost anywhere is pretty consistently great. But at this location the customer service is just okay. I got a take out order with it being placed online. Generally speaking, usually all that is involved is getting drinks with everything else being in the bag. When I got there, I had to ask for the brownies and chip that went along with my order. She pointed out I would have to grab that myself. Maybe that's how it always goes but seems to defeat the purpose of ordering ahead. One brownie had to be taken out of the cooler. I had an order for three people, you think a drink holder would be offered to me. Not at all. I will say they weren't unpleasant about being asked by me for everything but they weren't exactly enthusiastic. When I went to get my drinks, the soda foundation was out of a lot of drinks and there was no ice. At least the drinks came out cold, so I didn't even bother pointing this out to an employee. Unfortunately a father had no problem informing them. Overall the experience wasn't terrible but much improvement...

Very poor communication lazy mangement and workers. I walk in and can feel the tension and seeing individuals size up other individuals like nobody is welcomed rude male and female employees not clean. Asked for mangement due to a food concern and she was not helpful or knowledgeable it seemd and not wanting to be at work but in her own world and kids what seems to be young people behind the counter cussing where myself and other customers can hear if you want to talk like that then stay home. Do not waste your time at this location due to poor mangement I guess the owner or whomever needs to clean house fully and start fresh because seems nobody has experience in this establishment other then a couple perhaps that are not mangemnet but two shift leads from over hearing communication bewteen workers one female and one male. The parking lot is a disaster the location is a disaster as well as the atmosphere you feel pushed out and starred at like your going to get jumped and cussed at by workers or other customers again do not bother with...
