FreshFin is nice! Went there at 5:30 pm on a Friday, and it was not busy (late May, so not a lot of college students around). I got the teriyaki salmon poke bowl and truffle crab salad. The teriyaki salmon was very flavorful, and the teriyaki was not overpowering in the dish. The salmon was a full piece but was easy to pick apart with chopsticks. I got the truffle crab salad in the small size, which was between a half-cup to a cup, and enjoyed it. The truffle and crab were delicious together as you could taste the sweetness of the crab and flavor of the truffle. Their online menu is the same as their in-person menu. I did receive a pamphlet menu when I got in and noticed it only contained their usuals, so be sure to look on the screens for their full variety. You can make substitutions to make bowls vegetarian. It has healthier canned drinks, like sparkling water.

It's a very casual atmosphere if you're looking for a more relaxed time. You go in and order, then sit down or wait for your meal if you're getting takeout. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve gotten anything from Fresh Fin, and I had forgotten how INCREDIBLE the food is. All of their ingredients are super fresh and tasty. I’ve tried their more traditional fish-based bowls, as well as a few of their other options, and have never been disappointed. *One of my favorite things about this place is how accommodating they are to different dietary needs and preferences. Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free, watching carbs and/or cals, just about anything you could imagine. If you order online, they also have a section where you can note any allergies down to the specific ingredient in your bowl and their kitchen. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything so accessible. Even if it’s not for a specific dietary restriction, the customizability is a huge benefit and means you could eat here daily for months and always have something new to try. I’ve had very good experiences here up until this point. I think maybe with the current situation they’re getting a little confused and messing up orders a lot more often. I go here often with my father we love to get a poke bowl and a rice crispy treat for dessert, when we ordered to go my ball was missing a lot of ingredients and the man did forget the crispy treats. Other than this one experience I love this restaurant but it did bring it down to star for me. Consistency is truly the key!
