MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes — Restaurant in Madison

I used to be a big fan of this place (used to) When it first opened everything was always fresh, the chicken tenders were to die for, the burgers looked exactly like the photos and the fries were always warm, fresh and with a regular amount of salt, well not anymore. The chicken tenders are mostly breading that taste like they deep fry them let them dry and then deep fry them again, the meat itself has a funky taste (on the chicken tenders) The fries well you know that trick of throwing old fries back into the hot oil for a couple seconds to reheat them? Well they taste like that, on top of that I couldnt eat more than a handful of fries before feeling like I'm chewing a mix of salt and dry potatoes (chill out on the salt) I could go on with more specifics but I dont think that's necessary. I gave them multiple "last chance" opportunities because we are all human and mistakes happen and because it was my go to burger place, but now they're consistent with the subpar quality, I've spent at least a few hundred bucks at this location but that ended today, ended up throwing away 2/3s of my food cause It was just that bad. Hopefully something happens and they start doing things the way they used to. I'm now sad about having to find a new burger go to place and a little hungry (since I couldnt eat my whole meal) Before this review I had them on 5 stars and used to tell everyone about this place, well that is obviously changing. I have been working in the service industry for a minute and I know how things go sometimes, but I dont really believe this is a one time scenario. One advice, QUALITY CONTROL. I hope it doesnt sound like a rant, it's not. I'm just hoping whoever is running this place sees this and does something to improve the food quality which is decaying fast. Okay so full disclosure, I did NOT go into this resturaunt, I ordered it on Uber eats. I am an over the road truck driver, so naturally I spend a lot of time eating really bad food. So I made my way into the Madison area and stopped at a truck stop that shall remain nameless. I was hungry, so naturally I went into the stop. The food prices were so rediculous that Uber Eats was cheaper. While trying to decide, I reached out to my sister who went to UW Madison. She recommended here. So I made my order and it was delivered shortly thereafter. I am so glad I did. This is one of the top 3 best burgers I've ever had in my life. The patties are seasoned to perfection. The cheddar cheese was perfectly melted, grilled onions delicious and the lettuce was very crisp (I have a boring burger order, sue me). The fries were some of the best I've ever had. Again seasoned and cooked perfectly. All in all, im glad I got sent up here, because if everything goes wrong with my load, I'll have tried...

This shop cannot do anything right.

I have a coupon for a free burger that came with the purchase of a gift card.

First they gave me the wrong free burger cards (I was supposed to get ones for use online, they gave me ones only good in person).

Now they don't know how to accept the damn thing. There is NO price limit on the card they gave me...On the card they were supposed to give me there was an $11+ limit....But they only wanted to honor the card they gave me for $6.99.

The whole tell there's no manager in the store, and the teller barely speaks English (I have no problem with people not speaking English, but it's kind of important for counter help in Madison Wisconsin).

I spent 5 minutes trying to order and finally left.
