Peet's Coffee & Tea — Restaurant in Madison

Although there were 4 people working, the wait time was horrendous; roughly 33 minutes for 2 drinks. Staff was unorganized, holding up two foot long strips of receipt orders trying to figure out what to do next. Two of the four workers barely called out the name of ready orders to the large crowd (19 counted standing, who knows how many sitting) of waiting customers resulting in orders sitting on the counter for pickup. I had to ask workers if they lost my 2 drink order, They miraculously found it and said the problem was the almond milk was in the back. Also, they said it takes a "long time to steam milk". They handled my black coffee without any glitches at least. The manager needs to get the staff trained. One customer apparently gave up because there was a drink on the counter waiting for pick up the entire time. Truly, I have seen boy scout pancake breakfasts looking like well oiled capitalist machines compared to this...

I went to Pete's today at the Memorial Union in Madison, WI. I got a medium coffee with soy milk but I got black coffee handed to me so I had to go back up. I told the guy who had poured it and he handed me a carton of Pacific Soy Milk to put in my very full cup. I put as much as I could in (not much) then I drank some down and went back up to put more in. It had been 5 minutes but the guy had forgotten the whole incident and acted as if I were trying to steal extra soy. I explained I had paid for soy but he had forgotten it and handed me a carton to add it myself but that I couldn't add much.... he just looks at me (no apologies or any words come from his mouth) and puts the carton down again. I pour my soy in and leave. Wow! Horrific service at 12:30 pm...

Peet’s Coffee and Tea Where do I even begin! I have been thinking about this review for a while now and I think I’m ready to talk about it.
