Chill Bubble Tea — Restaurant in Maine Township

Tried this location this past August mainly for the sake of my 9-year-old son who loves CBT. We just got done eating dinner so naturally I have to ask him what he wanted for dessert.

Just like any other Chill parlor, delivers the same consistent taste which isn't necessarily the best tasting bubble tea but definitely not the worst either.

I've heard some ppl describe it as the McD's of bubble tea being it's not deemed authentic like other higher quality Asian chains and originated from Chi-Town.

Honestly it's not that bad at all and the older of my 2 sons claims it's his favorite brand in which case it was the very first bubble tea he drank (Taro) just before his 3rd birthday at the Hawthorn Mall location.

We live pretty far northeast in Lake County in Beach Park but if ever in the area again and my son gets that craving for CBT, we'll be back in. Hope for continued success & prosperity for...

Service and atmosphere is great but very disappointed with the flavors and consistency of all the smoothies. Strawberry shortcake with almond and vanilla tasted just like a strawberry shake and didn't have any flavor of vanilla or almond. It's one of the pricey ones for more than 8 dollars yet just plain strawberry flavor. Consistency was too thick and really frozen. Tried Tiramisu, mango and cookies and cream. Tiramisu didn't taste too good, became hard and had to use a spoon to scoop. The consistency is very odd and extremely thick for some flavors. Some are too watered down, others too thick. Flavors such as Tiramisu, strawberry shortcake are all extra pricey but tastes just like one flavor. Even with one flavor the flavor doesn't stand out.

Overall definitely disappointed with flavors and consistency of the drinks and extremely pricey considering the quality...

Today was my first time coming to this chill bubble tea, location and honestly I will not be returning. I got a chocolate banana smoothie and honestly I’m not sure what the issue was, but it was extremely thick so thick to the point where it wouldn’t come up the straw. It also had a weird consistency and the taste was just awful. When I called to ask what could be done about the girl on the phone who said her name was Maria was extremely rude. When I asked what she could do about the smoothie, she said there was nothing she could do without her manager, and that she didn’t care.
