Doña Sazón — Restaurant in Manassas

Listen folks. There are a lot of Peruvian Restaurants in DMV area. Most aren't good. Some are ok but service or dining room is not. Some are good but too expensive. But most are just average at best because the food just isn't authentic. NOT HERE. Doña Sazón is best authentic Peruvian cuisine you'll find at this price. And holds it's own with the best one out there that are expensive. The salsa criolla is fresh, the breading on the milanesa is fresh, the 1st course (soups) are homemade and brothy. There seafood, although I think mainly tilapia, is white and flaky meat with fresh breading. Nothing pre-frozen/bought whole sale crap. Try the anything on the ala cart but also try there "menu" as they say in Peru, or the there daily lunch specials. Cheap price and it's a lot of food. Most importantly, it's homemade style.
