BEST Birthday Party - Son's 2yr (17JUN23)

I heard a lot of good things about this place regarding birthday parties and figured we'd give it a go for our son's 2nd birthday. Best decision we could have made!

We went with the mid-tier package (Deluxe Celebration) which was perfect because they set up the decorations which was a huge help, had water for the kids, and a couple pizzas for them. We brought in a balloon arch for the display/cake table and had plenty of room for that. The two ladies/employees even helped with the extras we brought in. I requested a dino theme and the decorations they used were so cute but not "babyish" and fit well for a wild boy such as ours. I was really impressed with their set up!

My son had a blast here and the gym teachers were VERY active in entertaining the kids (ages: 1-6/12 kids). There were a few moments of free play which the kids just loved, especially the ball pit, and my gosh those teachers had so many games and activities to do with all of them and it kept the party lively and engaging the whole time. Activities/Games: zip line, parachute game, dino-teacher game, ball activity, and there were a few others I can't remember. We opted to have the balloon drop too since our son LOVES them. For our son we also had his birthday parade where he came out in a decorated cart and all the kids got to sing along and run around, so cute! They had great music playing most of the time, that wasn't annoying, and the kids were all able to do what they wanted and parents got to have some fun too.

The gym teachers were on point and kept to a reasonable schedule and worked with me for moving some things around. Really, I just had to push the food back a bit because I didn't order enough for the parents. I highly recommend getting extra pizzas for them! they even cut the cake for all of the kids and parents, cleaned up after them while still engaging with activities. Those ladies (Destiny, and another wonderful woman) really worked to make my son's birthday just amazing!

If you're contemplating having your child's birthday here just go for it. We even delayed the party to have it here. It's a great time for the kids and you actually get to spend time with your son/daughter. Looking back, that was the best part. Instead of having to worry about everything and everyone, my husband and I could chat a bit with our guests and have a fun time with our son. Thank you to MyGym and the teachers who made his birthday the best it could have been. We decided to tip them, generously (15%), because we have zero complaints and just so appreciative....

New management is terrible. Things have changed up for the kids. It is now boot camp style... the kids dont really get a water break nor do they have a chance to use the restroom to the point my daughter ended up having an accident for the first time. All the teachers gossip amongst each other and to other parents about their dislikes and annoyance of the kids yet never own up to their remarks. One instructor in particular is not a good influence to the kids, not to say that the other instructors are any good either. She is not nurturing nor does she know how to connect emotionally with any of the parents. She also openly gives feedback about a child with special needs in front of other parents which should have been kept more confidential and I can keep going on and on. Many students feel terrified walking into that facility on the days she is teaching. This was strongly brought to my attention by a friend and others and without a doubt it is truth. The teachers and director are very different when the owner is not around which helps me to conclude that this is not a trustworthy staff. I really wonder what they are doing when the parents drop their kids off for 3 hrs and otherwise.

There are many outstanding fitness centers for your children. Please do the research and explore for the sake of your child's emotional and mental...

We love My Gym and highly recommend them for weekly classes as well as a birthday venue for littles!! My child enjoys circle time songs and games, seeing little friends, and practicing new skills each week with her wonderful teachers.

We recently celebrated my child's birthday at the Manassas My Gym and absolutely loved the experience. Shout out to Ms. Destiny for coordinating information to make the process smooth. And a huge shout out to Ms. T and Ms. Kiki for keeping all the kids (ages 2-11 years old!) engaged and entertained all throughout, enough for us parents to sit back, relax a bit, and enjoy seeing our kids have fun. They took care of all the birthday details--the themed decorations, set-up of decor and food/desserts (a cupcake tower!), music, games, activities, ordering and passing out food, making sure the party moves along on time, and even coordinating/accommodating an outside vendor (party princess).
