This restaurant has good food, but very poor customer service. In the last 6 months I have ordered delivery from this restaurant MANY times (at least twice a week). Every time, the woman who answers the phone is very short and ultimately rude over the phone. But because they have good food I overlooked the lack of customer service and chalked it up to a cultural thing. There have also been numerous times when their online ordering gave me an error message when I submitted the order, I informed them of this and the lady acted as if she didnt care. Fast forward to last week.....I placed my usual order for delivery and when it came it was the wrong meal (not at all what I ordered). I called the restaurant and the woman answered and when I explained what happened she asked if I could eat the meal that they sent and that they would replace my meal the next time I wanted it (because I frequent their restaurant). I called the next day and asked to have my replacement meal delivered. She asked me what else I would like to order. I told her nothing else. That I just wanted the meal that they should have sent yesterday. She responded with "Absolutely not, you must meet the $15 minimum delivery requirement and then we will send your replacement meal". I was shocked. I didn't need to order an additional $15 worth of food (not to mention I already paid for the food)! When I told her that I was unhappy and that she would be losing a customer she said "Thats fine" and hung up the phone on me. These folks DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING BUT YOUR $$. Have very low expectations about...
Read moreI'm giving it 1 star because there's no option for 0. I ordered with my school colleagues today, they got our order wrong, so we called and they sent a delivery with the correct one, by the time it was here, our lunch time was over (we are teachers, don't have much extra time at the school) also, the chicken didn't look like chicken at all!!!. Then, when I was eating my shrimp and veggies I found a metal string (I assume from a sponge) in the middle of it. I called the restaurant and the lady at the phone wasn't nice at all. She was asking ME to go to the restaurant and pick up my $9 dollars from the shrimp and veggies plate because how was she supposed to return the money??...( So now I have to give her ideas for her bad. Any serious restaurant would reimburse all the order. My colleagues didn't eat the chicken, first because it came late and second because it doesn't look like chicken at all; I couldn't finish my plate because I found something disgusting in it. This was the worst...
Read moreTake heed to the bad reviews. Ordered hibachi chicken, beef in black bean sauce, pork egg foo young, wonton soup, and received a free chicken lo mein. The lo mein did not have a good flavor. The egg foo young was undercooked and mushy. The only thing that tasted okay was the hibachi chicken, but you can tell they trim the chicken and probably keep the good cuts for themselves and give customers the scraps and grizzle. I’ve never had a wonton where the dough just disintegrates. Either wonton wasn’t made correctly or the dough is old. We didn’t try the beef in black bean sauce. After trying the egg foo young, wonton soup, and lo mein we lost our appetite. Spent over $50 and totally disappointed sadly. Also took an hour and a half for food to be delivered. Will not order from Lin’s Grill again. I would recommend China Village or Wu’s Garden which are the only 2 Chinese restaurants that are somewhat decent for the Manassas area we’ve had so far. If you want authentic go to Fairfax...
