Great Wall — Restaurant in Manchester Township

Been eating lunch here for years - their lunch specials are a really good deal. For right around $5, you get a plateful of food (fried rice + main dish). Typically, I get their chicken & veggies, or chicken & brocolli, and I've never had a disappointment. The food is very good, hot & fresh, and your basic chinese food. They do have hot sauce, so if you like it spicier than they tend to make it, you can add spice to it. It's basically a take-out place with limited seating in the front of the store, and I've usually just eaten my lunch there. It's nothing fancy, and the owners' kids seem to be in the restaurant more often, but, I'm sure that they are balancing family/work like everyone else. I'd still recommend them for the food - it's a good deal for lunch and I try to stop by there whenever I'm in the area...

When I lived in York, PA I loved the food at Great Wall. No matter what was ordered, there were no disappointments in my order!! Everything tasted great!! I had to move out of Yor, PA at the end of 2000, I now live in Southern Florida, I've tried several Chinese restaurants, and although I found some food very good at one or two of them, I still cannot find one restaurant where I can order my entire meal from one restaurant. I have to order parts of each meal from different restaurants, and it's such a pain. I wish I could just find one restaurant where I can order the whole meal at once!! I miss great wall!! Can't believe that I. Annot find one Chinese restaurant that could match great...

If I could give a lower rating I would. Had ordered from there a few times and never had an issue. Then one day I got take out, brought it was to my house, and found a worm on my spare rib. Took it back and listened to them argue about it for 5 minutes, and then they tried to give me the money back just for my spare-ribs because the rest of the food was "fine". I threatened contacting the health inspector (which I should have), and then refunded all of my money. They told me that it wasn't a big deal because "the worm was dead" and that it "probably fell off the ceiling or a shelf". Disgusting. Will NEVER eat at this place again and...
