This place deserves way more than 2 stars. I’m a bit of a hotel diva so you can count on me to be pretty picky when it comes to accommodations! We are staying here now with our dog and cat because we’ve been displaced from our home due to mold. This is the 4th hotel we’ve been in and by far the cleanest and most friendly. No carpet means floors that are ACTUALLY CLEAN! The hotel smells clean and fresh and the decor is happy and colorfully accented. The hotel has thoughtful details like hooks on the wall and mobile desks. The toiletries in the bathroom are super nice too! Our daughter is scared of elevators so it’s nice that the top floor is only 4 stories up. We’re living out of plastic bins so it totally works for us that there are no dressers for clothing. The shades on the windows are great and create a blackout when you need to sleep. It’s right next door to a large Sheetz gas station so you can grab whatever you need quickly. The front desk and breakfast staff are always bubbly and warm. The cleaning crew welcomed us kindly as we “moved in” and have been helpful with fresh towels and extra blankets. It’s so refreshing to get the feeling that folks actually want to be of service and are happy at their jobs! Pardon the mess in the photos, I just wanted to show the comfy nature of our room. This is a lovely place to stay!

Staff was extremely kind and helpful. The lobby was inviting and clean and bright. We very much enjoyed the games and seating areas with our 4 kiddos. The outside spot was fun for my kids as well, as it had jenga and connect 4 in large sized. Breakfast is the same every day. But the staff keeps the breakfast bar full and warm/cold. The bedrooms are comfortable and stylish, and very inviting as well. The shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and body lotion is all the restroom in adorable bulk bottles hooked to the wall to save our planet from those tiny complimentary bottles that get wasted. I absolutely loved that! I love how green concious the hotel was! There is also a tv, tiny rolling desk and chair, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, and a very small mini fridge in the room. We a had a double queen. The beds were clean and comfortable. TV had good channels for my kids. My kids were also obs5with the mini gym. And burned off alot of road trip energy in there. Coffee and got chocolate are free and available in the lobby 24/7. We loved our stay and were appreciative of the kitchen staff, desk staff, and the bedroom maids. They kept everything clean and running smooth. Thank you.

Long story short - it was okay. Three stars only because the hotel is new and clean. Staff: We had very little staff interaction as we checked around 10 pm. The only real comments we got from the desk clerk was that she was getting off work in a few minutes, what time breakfast would be available, and that coffee was available 24/7. The room: As others have mentioned, the style is minimal. We found it to have an IKEA feel. The decor is garish, loud, and somewhat jarring (the room shades!) While the bed is comfortable, the sheets and pillow cases must have polyester in them - they had runs and felt plasticy. Outside of one uncomfortable desk chair, the only place to sit is on the bed. We did note the ample amount of plug and USB ports. Breakfast: We didn't bother as it was carb heavy and pre-bagged (a pandemic precaution) and with a Starbucks within walking distance, we didn't bother with the hotel coffee. Overall, we felt the hotel is overpriced for what it is.

This is probably my most favorite hotel. Tru by Hilton is so clean, you could eat off the floor. The rooms are spotless - from the shower, to the sheets, to the fridge. The lighting in the rooms is great - options for both dim and bright lighting. The decor is bright and trendy. It very much gives IKEA vibes. There is a nice fitness room, with windows and good lighting. The only down-side is the fact that there is no pool. The breakfast is free, with many food choices. In the main area near the entrance, there is a pool table. There are outdoor games right outside the back door, with windows and a glass door so you can keep an eye on your kids. From my viewpoint, it looked like it may also be enclosed to keep kids safe, although I didn’t go out there to look myself. Murals on the wall depicting York make the atmosphere happy and bright. I definitely felt very safe staying here. It is a very family-friendly place. The laundry room is clean and has 2 washers and 2 dryers. Laundry detergent is only a dollar. The front desk has lots of snack options at very affordable prices. Outside, there are plenty of parking spaces. The area outside the hotel is nice and open, making one feel very safe. There is a Cheddar’s restaurant just a stone’s throw away. A Sheetz is also within walking distance, and there is a 24/7 diner across the street. The hotel is not too far from the main thoroughfare, yet far enough that street noise and traffic are not an issue. This hotel was half the price of all the other hotels in the area, and I could not be more pleased with it. I was very impressed at how nice it is, and how Hilton makes it affordable in every aspect, from the snacks, to the laundry products, to the room prices. It honestly is a lot nicer than most of the more expensive hotels. The staff I interacted with were all very friendly and personable. 10/10...

The hotel seemed nice enough. Drew was nice. The breakfast was nice but then as soon as I leave, I get a charge for $200 on my card claiming that we smoked in the room we did not smoke in the room. I asked them to check the camera footage so they could see me repeatedly go outside to smoke and they refuse to do so They refuse to even discuss any further. The manager tried to hang up on us. It would not let me speak to anybody above them I asked for proof and there was none to provide because we did not smoke again in that room so if you have tattoos or vibrant colored hair or anything that somebody can judge you by maybe you don’t stay here Because they’re gonna charge you for smoking or whatever they can to keep you from coming back. This was clearly the guy to tell the business people stay at which is fine but I was not there for business and I paid for my room and if I’m not smoking in it and I’m not damaging anything I don’t see what the problem is. It was very apparent that they’re trying to get me to not come back which I will never come back I will also continue to write the same review on every website possible so other people know that this hotel seems nice and I’m sure it is nice for families and business people but if you’re not a family or a business person, they will do whatever they can to push you out that door and make sure you don’t come back zero out of 10 highly do not recommend There’s much better hotels in the area for much less that will not charge you $200 when you...

Terrible! The room was nice as was the hotel but from the second we came in I could tell we were being judged by our tattoos, piercings, vibrant hair, etc. The staff was very rude to us and then when I checked out, they tried to charge my card $200 for smoking fee. We did not smoke in the room. I called them and I asked for evidence of this supposed smoking they have none to provide the man on the phone said he was a supervisor and refused to connect me to anybody above him and hung up on me not once not twice but three times. I asked him to check the security footage so he could see that I clearly went outside to smoke multiple times. now I assume that what they are referring to as a smell would be medical marijuana, which has a smell whether you smoke it or not as people should be aware of it’s a very different smell than the way it would smell if you actually smoked it but again it’s medical marijuana. It is my medicine. Am I not allowed to bring my medicine with me? absolutely terrible unbelievable the way they took advantage have no proof and no evidence and still charge my card $200 refuse to let you speak to anybody above them and hung up on me multiple times it’s very clear. They do not want people like me in their hotel. I guess they would prefer families and business people because the second I left they made sure I never wanted to come back zero out of 10 highly do...
