Grocery Outlet — Local services in Manchester Township

PROS: This place is similar to Aldi's. They have great discounts but their items are not always the same. As long as you know this then you're okay. They have a variety of things ranging from groceries, produce, toys, pots and pans, gadgets, beauty care items, vitamins etc.

I have met some very pleasant staff members each time I have gone. On my first trip to the store a gentleman asked if I was finding everything okay. I told him it was my first time there and I was seeing so many discounts already. He informed me that his first shopping trip saved him $100+. He was very kind and wished me a good day.

On my most recent trip, I met a cashier (#0323 no name on receipt) who was singing along to the overhead song and dancing. He was very enthusiastic and bright. Made my gloomy afternoon a bit better.

CONS: Everytime I go, I almost get hit from peoplease flying around the corner of the parking lot closest to the HR Block. I have to creep around that bend when I enter so I don't get hit.

Everyone I go, there is someone in the parking lot asking for money. They seek you out if your presentable and typically women are targeted. It is a different person everytime so you can't predict who is going to ask you. But learn to recognize them if you can for future visits. I am going to try to scan the parking lot next time for anyone just wandering so I can ask someone to escort me out. I brought this to the Managers attention and he said that if you are approached by someone you may go back in and ask for someone to come out with you. So if you already know their faces or see them wondering I'm sure you could preemptively ask them to walk you out.

Has a variety of food and everything, I know outlets that have that variety plus the true outlet prices that are 50% - 75% off. Seeing things at this chain that equals the sale price at the local supermarket. And in my opinion they have things on the shelf to keep variety, that are about the same price as the local supermarket's. I shop at 2 other outlets within 10 and 20 miles from home which I go out the door with 5 to 6 bags for under $35 because 20% of the things that are normally $4.59 for 25 - 89 cents. At Grocery Outlets tend to see main store prices 5.99 or 6.99 here for 3.99 - $4.99 or 40% off. Now if you compare it to full price you can get 50% 60% marked down at grocery outlet but if the normal store has it on sale a lot then that's kind of an unfair to say. And if I travel one County over or 35 minutes I can hit a place that will be worth the gas cuz they have cheapest I see nowadays since too many places are doing discounts. I come out of this store with things like Sargento thin sliced cheddar...

I literally come here every day because it’s my social hangout spot at this point, with the added bonus of getting food at a good cost. I will literally turn every trip into 1.5 hours just looking at all the food because they have some crazy stuff sometimes! And I love it when they have deals on froot because they’re usually pretty good and I consume a boatload of fruit at times. I usually come here to scope out the good produce, since I spend so much money on it. If you were to ever rob me I would have nothing to give you because I spend all my money here. I have probably spent what I could buy a car with at Grocery Outlet. I don’t have any cons to mention, since I’ve never had a bad experience here I don’t think. All of the cashiers are really nice and some even compliment my reusable bags which is awesome. I buy a lot of ice cream here too, they have some scrummy flavors.
