Subway — Restaurant in Manchester Township

normally i never have an issue at this location. they have a note up to be patient as they are short staffed and i understand that. however, tonight i went there about 7:10pm. i was 3rd in line. the first was a man with his 2 kids and they were going to sit down but one of the employees told him, oh we close at 8- (50 minutes away), and said they want to start cleaning. so the family left. then the same employee began on the order for the lady in front of me. mind you there were 2 other boys working, neither of which greeted anyone. but they seemed to be making themselves busy doing anything else rather than help customers. the employee that was making food for the lady in front of me, stopped to answer the phone as his co worker stood beside him blatantly trying to listen in on his call, to which i stared in disbelief which is what i believe prompted the one on the phone to instruct the one listening in to finish her order. im still standing there. finally my order was started. i got out of there about 7:30pm. ive worked in restaurants a long time. i wouldve been written up for any of that. the restaurant is open until 8 so the customers can be there to eat because i have noticed the dining room is open again. since when is it ok to tell them to leave? if youre there after 8 pm, well thats a restaurant and no one gets out on time. i truly felt no one was welcome there and everything was a bother to these 3 boys working. they need to put CUSTOMERS first. get the customers taken care of and THEN proceed with your cleaning duties. or learn to clean as you go as to not have much at the end. seriously worst experience there and i frequent this location because it is a mile away from my home. maybe i shouldnt go there when the night...

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I told myself the first time I wouldn’t be back after my awful experience… but I gave it another try considering I might of caught the employees on an off day. I went to this location (12/13/23) and I don’t know the name of the older lady , a younger one was there as well. Both were not pleasant at all- but the older women ….. she was horrible!!!!! So negative, caught an attitude immediately when I asked for extra green peppers ( considering I only get a veggie sub- contorting of VEGGIES, and she gives me 3 green peppers). She throws 2 other peppers down when I asked for extra …. Well after seeing what her extra constituted of , I was trying to think ahead and I asked for extra chipotle sauce on my sub ( and after she literally squirted the sauce once ) I asked for more on the side- she filled the portion cup not even a quarter of the way…. This is not about me being greedy either wanting my sub to be over the top - it wasn’t even up to standard!!!! It was below the bare minimum. And for the prices ???? This review is also about the older employees attitude ( no clue her name she wasn’t wearing a name tag! ) that employee is really going to bring that establishment down, I know for certain I will not be back. Not to mention my boyfriend who was with me, leaned over and accidentally hit the cookie tray on top of the checkout counter and this lady flips and proceeds to tell us if we would of knocked it over ( which so dramatic to say ) we would have to pay for all the cookies !! Ahaha, how about you get that thing secured to your counter so it doesn’t become a liability issue Miss Karen. I hope that lady has the day...

If I could give you 0 I definitely would! I will NEVER return to this store EVER AGAIN! I spoke with Chuck Lambert I am assuming the owner of the place and he was rude as well. Because I brought this to his attention he wasn’t happy it seemed. Went here to pick up a mobile order today for me and my family. The lady working today was rude. I had two customers ahead of me. A gentleman who paid with cash and the lady handled the money and went to make the next customers food without washing her hands. She used hand sanitizer and touched the gloves. After she made the customers food I was up in line and I was told that I had to wait until the gentleman employee rang a lady up. Don’t understand why she couldn’t walk 2 centimeters to get my bag. I was told by the owner as if I was stupid or something that the register was pick up area because they don’t leave the food out I am assuming because of thief! There was only two employees working and I am sure I would had been told I had to wait in line as I’ve been told before going here for an order! Also other employees didn’t wash his hands either after handling trash! I won’t be returning poor customer service! owner made it like I was an inconvenience to listen to! Then goes on to ask what I do for a living and things of that nature! And that people are human and make mistakes! Pretty gross your employees don’t wash their hands and use hand sanitizer, then touch gloves with alcohol on them. So your getting a mouth full of chemicals! Also the veggies on our subs where old and gross. Very dirty place and nasty rude employees!
