Ok folks, this is the real deal. Authentic Mexican cuisine, realistic pricing, generous portions, and friendly staff. Down home, just what you didn’t know you were even craving, comfort food, made from scratch daily. I recommend the tostadas! Straight dank! Also, their frijoles are to die for. You know a place is good when the side of beans brings you back in for more. They sell their beans in bulk as well. $14.99 for 32 oz. Your family will thank you, and if you don’t tell them you don’t make em, they’ll think you’re the best damn frijoles maker in Riley County, because let’s be real, 90% of y’all have never been outside Riley County.

While the food is really delicious and comes out very consistent. I really can't say what makes this restaurant stand out amongst the Mexican eateries in the Manhattan KS area. The food is authentic and fairly priced, but there is no one item or signature dish that blows you away. But that isn't a bad thing at all because you know every time you come, you're receiving quality and authentic Mexican food. Which is rich in culture and very tasty and will be every time. The waitresses are rude. They sat us(party of 5) down and didn’t acknowledge us for at least 15-20mins. Didn’t give us any chips and salsa, menus, or asked what we wanted to drink. The 2 girls were too busy flirting with the male customers and not doing their job. When she finally brought out our food, she forgot the rice so i reminded her. She didn’t come back with the rice till we were done eating. She knew there was only 1 Spanish speaking person at the table but was very rude and didn’t wanna write down our orders unless we tell our Hispanic family member what we wanted when she clearly spoke english.
