Normally have a pleasant and consistent experience with my artwork at Hobby Lobby but today that was far from the case. The frame shop usually does a great job when framing my artwork but today there was a complication that ended with me having to pay for someone else's mistake. I informed Jessica before she reframed my painting of the reason it had been installed the way it was, Without asking she made additional placements in the frame instead of screwing them in the original places. Autumn attempted to justify what had happened and why but it was still all wrong and had damaged my frame they were ultimately placed back in the original placements.. They did not need to use new screws or hangers as all of the originals were still intact. Not only is my frame now damaged I had to pay for a reframing fee and hanger. To add salt to the wound on my way out I received a condescending "I'm sorry about your frame". It is upsetting, to say the least, and let me know there was an issue.
*Spoke with Warren the next day he was equally inconsiderate on the matter but I...
Read moreHobby Lobby might have finally lost me as a customer. I’m so tired of going to this location and being made to feel like I’m a criminal. The older woman with short gray hair who manages up front is always rude, grumpy, and treats you terribly. She has been there for years and I’ve had many interactions with her, none of them positive. Today was the final straw. I will drive to Topeka or Salina to go shopping for crafts before I go back and deal with her again. Returning something? Not a chance if she is there! I didn’t even have a return today and was still treated terribly. For a very vocal Christian organization you would think they’d attempt to hire people with their values. Her treatment of people is unprovoked, meaning I have no attitude, no tone of voice and no physical appearance that would cause her to treat me differently. Hate your job? Please QUIT so we can...
Read moreThis Hobby Robby in Manhattan. Employees were always super friendly and helpful! There is always a sale, and you can buy decoration items that are off season at 60% off sometimes.Surprisingly, there are clearance shelves at each corner, so you may be able to buy what you were looking for very cheaply. There are so many different kinds of decoration items that I can find more nice decoration items than I need. Fabrics were also sold at the back of this store, so I think those who plan to make handmade face masks are worth visiting. Many types of wool are still on display, so you can buy them at a discounted price. I love this shop But cashiers were...
