4 tables had people sitting at them. The place was pretty much empty, yet my kids and I still had to wait over 10 minutes to be seated. Once we were seated, our waitress did a great job of dealing with my cranky little one. But his crankiness just got worse and worse during the HOUR LONG WAIT for our food. (Even though the place still was not busy at all). Then when our food came, my French toast was cold, my daughter's hash browns were burnt, and their pancakes we're also burnt. Definitely not the meal we were hoping for after such a long wait. The manager did take care of our check, but I still wanted to tip our waitress, because she did a good job. Since I didn't have any cash on me, I had to have them ring me up for .01¢ on my card and then I could add tip to it. However, they told me that only the manager could do this for me and she was outside smoking, so I would have to wait until she came back in. 10 minutes later, here she comes (smelling like smokey the bear) to take care of this for me. She was just like oh whatever. No apology for the wait or anything. I left the waitress a good tip because she did a good job. I sure hope she got it all because she was the only one who...
Read moreThe meal was fair. I can't see there was anything to write home about. I post pictures when the food is really good. I'm this case I had the sampler. Two skinny links of sausage, two thin strips of bacon, two small slices of ham. I small hash brown patty, two eggs and pancakes. They are know for there pancakes and these where the best part. There is only one kind of syrup these days, you don't get any options and none were offered. The overall price of 13.95 for this and another $3 for coffee was just not a good value. The meal looked like a half empty plate when they brought it, potatoes are cheap, they could have added some mass to the plate and made it look more like it was worth it. We used to have a group meeting at IHOP, most people quit attending when it turned out to be $20 a plate - you can still get a steak for that. Sorry IHOP I won't be back. For the $20 I spent I could have made the meal and fed 4 people. You can either start looking to become a good value or just let the business decline until you close. Breakfast food is some of the cheapest to make. You aren't selling small plates of...
Read moreMy wife and I got there around 12:30 pm. The restaurant was mostly empty with maybe eight tables of customers. There was a pile up of waiting customers in the lobby. Fifteen minutes later a server finally came up to seat some of us. There was an older woman maybe manager and some young servers that seemed to mainly hangout talking back in the kitchen. One server was left to do everything. It took us 30 minutes to get to a table. Once seated we were totally ignored while the supposed manager and server staff joked around together back by the register and then in back in the kitchen. Only two servers were doing any actual work. 50 minutes later nobody had bothered to even acknowledge us at our table or take a drinks order. We left. ALONG WITH 3 OTHER families of customers who were left to sit, totally ignored. As we left one of the two actually working servers said they were getting ready to quit the place. IHOP...senior management...FIRE someone. This IHOP used to be pretty good six months ago. Now it is one of the worst train wrecks...
