Updating my review to reflect the incredible customer service received from Manager Nicole. Severe miscommunication amongst staff caused a beautiful cake (made by Nicole herself) to be missed on pickup day. She made sure we still received the cake and a refund for the trouble. I will continue to order from this Dairy Queen so long as Nicole is still there. To the franchise owners, please consider giving Nicole time and/or funds to continue team building and training her staff: empower your people to do the right thing for your patrons, the same way Nicole took care of us. Thank you Nicole for making this right!
Ordered an ice cream cake for my son's birthday 4 days in advance and paid ahead at the request of the employee I ordered it with over the phone. Times are tough for all right now and we didn't exactly have $26 to spend on an ice cream cake, but it was all my son wanted for his birthday. My husband showed up to pick up the cake today at the time I was quoted and we were told they had no cake for us. Another customer came in and their cake was mysteriously missing too. I called and spoke with manager on duty Anthony, who refused to do anything about it even though I provided the date, time and amount of the charge so they could hopefully look it up. All I was offered was "well, I can get your name and number and my boss will deal with it." So, manager Nicole, who only works M-F from 11 am to 2 pm according to Anthony, will be receiving a call back from me. I cannot understand how they lost a cake that was preordered and paid for, not once but twice and now they won't refund my money. Thanks, DQ!...
Read moreIf you like cross contamination, inappropriate staff, long waits and incorrect orders...then by all means come to this DQ because it's the best at all of that!!
Over the past 6 years we have come to this DQ a handful of times. Everytime, we see the same thing. Workers joking around in the back, swearing loud enough so customers can hear, touching their faces, put hands in their pockets with GLOVED hands and then watching them make food. Absolutely DISGUSTING! It should not take more than 10 minutes to wait on food for a Dreamsicle dipped cone and a smoothie. But wait, there's more!
The smoothie was fine, actually the first thing we got. The dipped Dreamsicle cone....yeah not so much. Your shirts say, "Do the Curl"...I didn't get a curl...infact I got a partially melted cone that looked like a sad blob of ice cream. The "dreamsicle" coating was horribly granulated and waxy! Barely tasted like orange. I would probably do this town a service by calling the health department on you...but I think with the service you provide and what customers can see for themselves...you'll put yourself out of business soon enough! I guess it is worth the drive to go to the west side DQ. At least they make it look...
Read moreThis is the 2nd time I've had trouble getting decent burgers in the last month. Both times I was at the DQ on 3rd St Manhattan. 1st time was before the Cheese Burger sale. It was a bit after 9pm. I asked if the grill was still available & was told yes. I ordered 2 double cheese. I get home I had two over charred, dry, cold burgers w/a piece of cheese not melted. Very disappointing as I like DQ burgers. Then last Friday around 1pm I thought let's order burgers, give them another chance. 2 double cheese, 1 w/o.p.k & the 2nd one o.p.& relish. Nice gal taking order said they had packets of relish. That would be fine. Paid, the window server said burgers would be right there & she showed me relish. She also was assisting customers at the counter. I think cook came over handed me my order, got home no relish. I know mistakes happen ei...relish. But no excuse for cold, over cooked, should have been pitched, burgers. However, we'll be back...usually have great...
