Let's face it - a limited menu and a chicken finger in a Styrofoam box really isn't very picturesque. So no photos with this. The chicken is good, very juicy and it's been brined for a long time. It almost throws of the texture of the chicken. Texas toast is good and warm. The fries were warm, not hot and we're wilted. It's all if they were in the box for 10 minutes before my order. The chicken was hot, the fries not worth eating. Normally I'm a fan of a crinkle cut fry, because they are crispy. These again were mush. Give me an extra piece of chicken and keep the fries.
I'm not a frequent customer and inconsistent food is why. The staff was friendly and nice. They weren't very busy and that why I got old food. With $9 for a couple chicken fingers they should be on to of the game for every customer. The years ago this wasn't even worth $5. Now that it's almost double it should be perfect.
I don't like to complain in the restaurant, they know what the age was of the food in the bin. My statement is in...
Read moreAh yes, the college student's sanctuary for hunger, where all your food needs will be met; your cravings satiated. No other restaurant would dare to be open until 2 am, no other place would dare to deliver what Cane's has already perfected: the pinnacle of late night chicken with a sauce that triumphs over all the others.
Truly, every piece of avian flesh is masterfully fried and served in the most timely fashion. The toast of the Lone Star State is magnificently soft with a thin layer of the golden perfection we call butter. The fries are deliciously soft and seasoned to which even my doting mother would be proud.
Never ordered the coleslaw. Never will. May that unsightly concoction be damned to the farthest points of Antarctica before it ever reaches thine eyes.
However, for the edible delights that I have gratefully devoured upon during the nights in which all other subpar restaurants are closed off, they have...
Read moreI really enjoyed these fingers. The menu is great! They have 4 options plus a kids meal. The menu lists exactly what each meal gets so there is no confusion with having to pick extras. I liked that. I got the 4 piece meal and I couldnt eat it all. The fingers were really big and juicy (that's what she said.) The breading didn't really stay on the bottom but I didn't care. I went through the drive through so maybe the Togo box had something to do with that. The breading has a lot of flavor though!! The French fries were really tasty. I couldn't make it to the cole slaw and bread but it was a big piece of bread. Perhaps the best thing though was the drive through service. This is the fastest I've ever gotten my food. By the time I ordered to the time I got to the window it was ready!! I would definitely come back. It was well priced and I'm happy. The box...
