Feeling a bit disheartened. I have 2 small toddlers and so for both my sanity as well as respecting the store and not wanting to make a mess or potentially break anything, I always put the youngest one in the cart. 5 below’s carts are not big enough to put a child in, and the store isn’t wide enough for a stroller. The neighboring store has small carts the perfect size and I always have just shopped there first and then continued to use my cart into 5 below. Today I was basically asked to leave due to the cart not being theirs. I understand that, but when their carts absolutely don’t accommodate putting a child in and the store isn’t wide enough for a stroller, they’re leaving parents with kids pretty much no option.    Read moreDuring the grand opening I won a $100 GC to the store. Wonderful! However, upon my third attempt to use the GC, it was found that an employee had taken the number after my last transaction and spent the remaining $83 balance. The store manage essentially told me there was nothing that he could do, and actually suggested that perhaps a family member had taken the card. I escalated the issue to corporate who are investigating who completed the fraudulent transaction, as well as reissuing my GC.
Long story short: The management and employees of this store need further training and supervision. The cameras are fake, thus making it hard to identify when employees do something inappropriate. I...
