When it was all delivered by the Homestore it was left outside my door, stacked in front of the stairwell, and I never received the delivery notification I was promised. Finally when I called in hours after it was intended to be delivered, was I told it was left outside 2+ hours before.
After starting to unpack my purchase, I found out what I had ordered was not the correct piece that was delivered. The Homestore picked it up a week later (mind you this was a 14’ sectional), and it only occurred after I was on hold with online support for 1.5 hours. The Manhattan location refused to help or talk to me about the issue. After my hold on the phone, I was connected with a supervisor who informed me that I should have been in contact with my Homestore in Manhattan as they were the ones who could resolve the solution. This being done before calling online support, where I was told by Chelsea in the Manhattan store that they wouldn’t be able to help me.
Fast track 4 months later, I never received my refund for the incorrect item that was delivered. After the horrible service I received I decided to purchase my living room furniture elsewhere. After calling the Homestore and online services, my refund still never went through. I had paid for an item I didn’t have, an expensive one at that. I eventually started a dispute with my credit card company and the only reason my dispute was resolved was because I called in multiple times after the fact. When hearing from my credit card company that the dispute wasn’t being resolved within the 60 day timeframe I was given, this was at 59 days, I decided to call online support again and was finally connected with the right parties to fix the issue. 4 months of no communication and no resolve... I honestly don’t think it ever would have been resolved if I hadn’t kept checking in and seeing that I was being inaccurately charged on my account.

Read moreIf I could leave zero stars I would. When we purchased, we were told our delivery date was May 11. We waited on May 11, and no delivery. When we called, they told us they called on May 1 and May 9, but when I checked my missed calls and voicemail, I did not receive any calls.
When I asked if the furniture could still be delivered on the same day (requested before noon), they said it was impossible. However, Manhattan isn't a huge town, so why they couldn't make me the last delivery of the day seems like they don't want to make things happen for their customers. I have family coming in this weekend and now we have nowhere for them to sleep, which they also did not care about.
They said the option was to wait until Monday which we were apparently lucky to get, which they reiterated several times, or come get the furniture myself. I explained that I drive a Corolla and there was no way I could possibly pick it up. Then, I was told that I could rent a UHaul if I needed it before Monday.
They absolutely are not customer oriented. We ordered our furniture back in March, and by May, we still don't have it. The store manager was incredibly rude (Blaine) and even raised his voice and told me there was nothing he could do. He blamed us for the mishap, was not willing to work with us, and told me that just because his options weren't what I personally wanted didn't mean that they were wrong.
I will absolutely NEVER buy from this store again, and plan to let everyone know to just head to the Furniture Mall or Nebraska Furniture Mart, both of which I have had excellent...
