Kind and down-to-Earth staff! CLOVER BREWED COFFEE: the black-bag Reserve specialty-import coffees. The CLOVER is a hyper-expensive filtration system and brewer that makes some type of subtle adjustments to fit *each coffee terroir* to make a literally perfect cup. It's worth that extra price. You won't even care. Amazing overall service speed, even during rushes. Like Indy Car spec lately. Yes, they are understanding of bathroom usage (a big deal in the news they tried openly and with hard talks with employees everywhere to resolve) and often even wi-fi needs. They understand life happens! Community observation: A group of tough, close-knit and well motivated young people run this store. It's unique. I hope they stay on, but don't burn out. I can't believe all they endure just in one rush!!! I've noticed the little things here and they are strict about cleanliness and labels. They sort out confusion fast. Period. I've seen them do it a few dozen times. I've only ever seen one angry customer who was even correct in their mistake about online ordering (an almost instant pickup service they offer through the official Starbucks app, which I was really sketch on. But there is a real reason having a registered rewards card and the app is called by many the best in corporate America)." [Any area they could improve? Just a few more trips "across the counter" to check how seated/dine-in customers are doing. I really value it when they do it! Also, noticing when someone has come up to the counter with undivided attention for a moment. I know the headsets are a tricky thing to perfectly manage, but complex orders with friends I've brought in do get jarringly cut off or distracted by sudden drive-thru alerts/changes/new cars when our multiple item order was first and is still getting placed They don't do too bad on this. All other places with a drive-thru strive until they have lost their souls to satisfy electronic board numbers. The drive-thru is important, but the taproot into the community is the seated lounge.] I focus not on that minor to-improve issue (there is always one!!!), or even on the great coffee: A great worker got upset with me once over a technical issue in store as I watched my order being made. But, she really improved to have a great and kind attitude to a truly sincere degree. She never even needed to say anything; I knew we were cool and had both grown from the experience. Ha ha, I don't yet understand the intriguing motivational and intelligent top lady in charge of the store, but I respect her intense passion. Another leader, Emily has always been extra kind to me even though we have quite different personalities. I just plain like all the second-tier management. Evan is the ever-kind customer loving soul among the employees. He really gives it a cherry on top vibe of customer care. Like, actually caring care.

After waiting in their drive thru I was rudely informed that they didn't have change to break my $100 bill. I wasn't buying it so I asked to talked to the manager. I was not given the opportunity to speak to the manager and was sent away. Honestly the place prints money they're busy non-stop. I go there all the time and just curious if the owners know they are sending customers away because they can't make the time to muster up some change . Dunkin donuts breaks $100's and didn't bat an eye.

Here is my ice drink with 90 percent of ice. After two sips there was nothing to drink. Showed this cup to an employee and they defended the way they prepared this coffee special. I don’t believe his is right. Quality of beverages at this location differs significantly from Starbucks at MSU

I've been a customer of Starbucks since the original store opened on the West coast, and for a time was an investor. Although the chain has been known for consistency in the past, the service and quality have degraded to the point that I no longer refer to myself as a customer.

The top complaints directed toward the Mankato store on Adams are service and quality, and while there are multiple complaints to mention, I wanted to call folks' attention to the most egregious. When online-ordering, or ordering from the drive-thru which is my normal mode at this store, I often order a venti, cold drink with no ice. When pulling up to the window and paying as of late, I often receive the drink filled with ice and send it back to be redone per the order. As a trend for several months, the drinks have been made with ice even after repeating that part of the order at the drive-thru in an effort to ensure it's understood.

On my last visit to this location, and after specifying no ice, I noticed some ice in my drink upon receipt, but didn't think it was enough to be an issue. Moments after leaving the drive-thru and glancing once more at the drink, I noticed that the ice was filled in the entire venti cup from top to bottom, displacing 50% of the drink as it should have been served. At the time, the drive-thru was full and there was a line inside, and I didn't time to contend with the staff over this. I've now concluded that avoiding this location, or the entire chain altogether is the best bet to this level of service involving providing the customer what the server wants to provide, as opposed to supplying the item being ordered and paid for. Watering down the drinks in this manner provides rock-bottom value for drinks that are already...

Usually I would rate this place a five, great place to study for college student, however that changed tonight. Me and my sister went through the drive thru tonight, Oct. 8th, at around 8pm, I wanted to get my sister a little birthday present, her favorite, a medium cappuccino, with a shot of Carmel, (this time hazelnut since she said you guys were out of Carmel) almond milk and Splenda. The barista, a girl maybe collage with blond hair with bangs, thought we said Frappuccino, (which is a understandable mistake) when we told her she made a mistake, she looked really mad at us, closed the window, I saw her complain to her other coworker while making the cappuccino, made it a small in a medium cup (my sister is a regular Starbucks drinker, she knew it was a small) didn't put the flavoring or sugar in, yet still charged us extra for these things. I really am disappointed, especially since it's midterm for me this week and was planning to spend a lot of time studying at your store, but I guess I'm...
