My girlfriend introduced me to this fantastic taco spot. I’m from the bay area and I’m used to the best tacos being found at food trucks, so when I saw that we were going to a Mexican restaurant with a storefront I had my doubts. My doubts were cleared as soon as we ate the food. This place has an amazing salsa bar with 8 different salsas and most of the salsas are at least medium spicy and a few are really spicy. They also have great add ons like pickled vegetables and cucumbers.

Now for the food. We just ordered a bunch of different tacos (chicken, chorizo, al pastor, carne asada, tripas, and quesabirria).

Chicken: 5/5 these were the best chicken tacos I’ve had! Most places mince the chicken or make it too dry, but this chicken was juicy and delicious

Al Pastor: 4.5/5 this was pretty good too. The meat had a nice char and pineapple on top but not the absolute best I’ve had

Chorizo: 4/5 these were good and had a nice char and pineapple. The flavors didn’t stand out

Carne Asada: 4.5/5 the carne asada was pretty good! It was chewy and paired well with the salsas. It could have used a little char

Tripas: 4.5/5 tripas are hard to get right and this place does it well! Not too crispy and not too soft. Right in the middle where I like it

Quesabirria: 4/5 pretty good but I’ve had better! The consommé was delicious!

Overall really good and if you get a chance to try the jalapeño salsa, please do! It’s very spicy and...

Tacos are tasty and wholesome but the owner must be a cheapskate because you have to get up and ask for every little thing, it’s annoying. None of the tables have napkins, utensils, salsa cups and other small items that every other restaurant out there provides by keeping them within distance reach. God forbid you need a simple napkin when this place is busy, you will definitely be waiting to be provided with the basics! This is also the first Mexican restaurant where they charge for chips, also each order of tacos only comes with two cups of salsa. The owner needs to stop worrying about these small stingy details that create a negative experience for...

I had a craving for Mexican food. So I Decided to try this place I’ve never been there before. I ordered two Carne Asada tacos to try, I ordered my husband a Carne Asada burrito and we ordered a carne asada nacho to share. The tacos were good. But they were a little small for the price. The burrito was huge! But it was the price of a full meal, so kind of expected it to be huge. The downside was it had refried beans which I’m not a fan of prefer whole beans in my burrito as refried beans make it mushy. And then the nachos came with the nacho cheese sauce like you get on cheap nachos and to be honest it was kind of disgusting. I Didn’t finish the...

Tried them out today and overall the food was great. I ordered 3 tacos—2 tripa and 1 al pastor. The tripa was excellent, super flavorful and cooked just right. The al pastor was okay, nothing too special. My son got 2 tacos (asada and chicken) and both were fire! We also tried the birria ramen, and that was extraordinary—definitely a highlight. On the flip side, the chorizo taco wasn’t great, kind of a miss. The flauta order was tasty though, no complaints there. I also really liked that they have a salsa bar with a nice variety. The guacamole salsa tasted like it was close to expiring, but all the other salsas were really good.

First thing I noticed was the great service. The people were friendly. They quickly turned over the dirty tables. Which was important because there was a steady stream of people coming in. I had the chicken nacho which were good. Next time I will have the tacos. Not because the nachos were bad, but because watching other peoples food come out the tacos looked that good. My husband had the carne asada plate. I was so good I couldnt even get a photo before he started to devour it. We will definitely be back.
