T-Mobile Experience Store — Local services in Manteca

This store was not the problem. The employees were courteous and attempted to solve my problem. My problem: placed an online order to pick up a new phone at this location. I had to wait once I showed up only 10 minutes (maybe). They had my order ready and called me up. They asked for ID. I have them my expired DL and my interim VALID license. They took the picture and the system said I could not use it because it was expired. Supposedly, there was no way to override it, which I find hard to believe. I don't stop being me just because my license expired. Anyway, they will ship it to my house and leave it on my doorstep with needing to see and ID, much less take it back if my ID is expired. I get the valid ID, but SOMEONE should be able to override that with some other form of ID.

I cancelled my order. I will go buy the phone...

The store inside is pretty. I went to swtuch to a family plan with 3 new lines and more data, one for me and two for gifts. I switched got the promotion phone. I go back to get the family plan but I'm not able to get a promotion for the other line? I was confused and now I can't fathom gifting. I have called and spoken and now the same with a charge I don't know about and the are saying the lines are free? I don't want to switch to Metro again and now I feel stuck without the correct help. Just feels like the basics are being ignored to get a mystery charge? That's what I heard from reading about verizon. I'm very bothered by this. I guess this is why people I have asked are also sad. It goes against the marketing and good business...

Hubby finally took a step into the 21st century and ditched his flip phone for a smartphone!! Top of the line Galaxy - Whoo-hoo! And, after complaining for years, he switched to Tmobile from a company with sketchy service that shall remain nameless. smile

Honestly, we were a challenge, I'm sure-lol. But the young lady who helped us was so sweet and patient.
