Tequileros Taqueria — Restaurant in Manteca

Hubby told me this is a chain restaurant.

Annoying as f you call to order it automatically hangs up and texts you a link, giving the only option to mobile order online through DoorDash their “partner”

So basically forcing you to go through third party

End up paying extra

Because middle man fees

Not cool

Go to Chapala

You can call your order and place it over the phone online or in person, it should be ready within 10-15 minutes

Usually

Peak times obviously can go up to 20 maybe 25 minutes, even 30 possibly depending on how busy they are

Like during lunch or so

So when I placed and paid for my order I received a text message saying from the time Tequileros said my order would be ready it should be ready now.

I leave my house

Get there

Walk up to the pick up window

After taking an in person order

The kind girl asks what’s the name for the order

I tell her my name

She then tells me she does not see my order

She asked my if I can check that I ordered from the right location

So I double checked for her

I showed her yes I was correct

She confirms my order

Then tells me she’s sorry she only saw one other person’s order

Then says she’ll tell them right now to make my burrito it should not take too long

I stood for a minute before getting back into my vehicle to sit

Only waited about 3 minutes

Burrito was a bit sad

Mostly rice and then beans and last least amount was the protein carne asada

Which is unfortunate

That’s why my burrito was sad

Please put more carne in burritos to make them happy burritos equal happy customers

Burritos are not that big!!!! At all. And by the taste? Chapala is better! I’m from more down south and I feel chapala’s taste is more authentic! Mr.Taco in Stockton is better than both.😬🗣️🤞

Order taker was perfect

I do not like the oregano in the mild salsa it is disgusting to me personally my opinion obviously

The hot one is good because it does NOT have oregano

I like the consistency of their salsas

They gave me 1 of each 3 to try

I was on my way back from the grocery store looking for a quick bite to eat when I knew I had to stop and pump gas. After doing so I came across Tequileros Taqueria that I had see have lines of people during certain parts of the day which made me want to try it out for myself to see what the hype was about and just what I thought another place with excellent food. I order a Hot Super Carne Asada burrito that was very flavorful and filling. I actually had to take a minute to stop and write this like I was Paul Revere letting everyone know where they should go when they’re hungry. Although I didn’t get pickled jalapeño’s with my order, I still got sliced radishes and lime. I’ve been told I don’t look like the type to eat very spice so that could have been why. Overall my experience here was very pleasant with the gas station near by if I wanted to pick up a certain drink, chips or snacks to go with it. I’ve been getting this for lunch at work through DoorDash and this is by far my absolute favorite spot for tacos and burritos. I just wish they’d extend their dash pass range because it’s not available on DashPass at my house, which is in Ripon. Their pastor is off the charts. You MUST get their tequileros salsa I can’t even describe how good it is. I do their salsa red with the tequileros salsa and it’s to die for. Their loaded fries are the best I’ve ever had in my life. I will continue to order this place time and time again because I just can’t find another place that had this good of flavor. I can’t really speak on any of their other meats because all I’ve had is their pastor. If the owners are reading this, PLEASE extend your DashPass range so I can actually order your food...
