Naf Naf Grill — Restaurant in Maple Grove

I saw the negative reviews, but I ignored them. Do not make the same mistake I did. I grabbed me pita from pickup, I picked it up earlier than the suggested time, half was cold other half was room temperature. Already a negative in my books because if I eat out I expect food to be hot. I was confused why half was cold, like fridge cold but I assumed maybe it was the salad I start eating room temperature side, holding onto other side. Liquid starts gushing out and gets onto my work clothes. The bottom half of sandwich is all garlic sauce but I didn’t realize that right away. I get napkins and start cleaning it off and continue eating. Then even more liquid gushes out from bottom to top and spills out of aluminum to my work clothes and car. Then the top starts falling apart and I wasn’t able to clean it as fast as it was falling out. At this point I barely ate and took the loss on my clothes. I try to eat over the paper bag and then realize that there was barely any chicken or hummus. Most of the pita was red cabbage. And again everything just kept falling out. I’ve had Chipotle burritos filled with everything on the menu and it never spilled on me. I’ve had chicken pitas from other places that never spilled on me. I don’t know why one side of pita was filled with garlic sauce and why there was barely any chicken or hummus, I also don’t know why none of the food was hot. Needless to say I would’ve been a lot happier if I got lunch from elsewhere. If I did I would not be left hungry, my car wouldn’t be messy, nor would I need to return home to...

The Maple Grove Naf Naf location has been my family go to place as it was close and the staffs have always been friendly. However, I was extremely disappointed with my recent visit on 4/13/21. I placed an order for two chicken rice bowl for $9 each and had requested to add more rice as it was unusually less than what I've normally got in the past. The lady working there did mentioned that adding additional rice will cost more which I was fine with thinking it would only be a dollar or two more. My theory was if a side of basmati rice, which come in a small container, costs $3.15, my half scoop of rice can't cost more than that.... To my surprise, an additional half scoop of rice in each rice bowl is somehow equivalent to the 2 side of basmati rice. I was charged $6.30, $3.15 per rice bowl, for additional rice.... When I brought it up to the cashier that the quantity that was added to the rice bowl is no where near the quantity of the side of rice that I was charged for, she simply said that additional rice is $3.15.... Again, I only added extra rice because the amount that was given was alot less than what I've normally got in the past. Instead, I was charged nearly a price for a rice bowl, $6.5, for ~ 1...

I LOVE your food and am a regular customer. Used to be 5 star for me across the board but as of recent I am having trouble getting full!! I order a falafel bowl and an extra pita to stuff myself on bread and still have trouble filling up. I am a 180lb 5'11 vegetarian and do not have a huge appetite. It appears you have cut serving size significantly. I talked to staff about it at Maple Grove and they said corporate complained they were serving to much. If I try to get lettuce and rice they try to charge extra as you get only one base and they barely give enough rice to be noticeable. We are talking rice and lettuce here??? Filler food. I am honestly not one that complains much BUT am not willing to buy 2 bowls of your delicious food just to get full. Just wanted to give you a heads up that my family will be choosing another spot if we can't get full on your servings. Please put a well rounded scoop of rice in my bowl as a regular custonmer to keep us coming back!! Just my humble feedback and 2 cents on your business. Otherwise we love the food and the staff is very nice. ...
