I ordered $80+ worth of food online from this location over an hour before my pickup time was set. Was supposed to be an easy dinner for my family. I go in with my little sister so she can help me carry the items. As soon as we walk in, weâre met with 3-4 other customers who later turned out to all be waiting for their food they pre ordered. They all looked pretty fed up. Turns out one guy had been waiting almost 40 minutes before he left saying he wouldnât wait any longer. We stand there for about 15 minutes before anyone working there acknowledges us. The girl working there was not disrespectful but definitely was taking her time. I told her i had a pickup order and she walked away and grabbed my items, came back to set them down, and proceeded to pretend to look over my order. She tells me have a good day and we walk out the door before I realize that weâre missing a whole pizza, crazy bread, and crazy cups. I have my sister bring the stuff back to the car to wait with my mom and go back in, wait another 5 minutes and tell her that im missing things. I ended up waiting 20 more minutes after that. The food we received was cold and grossâ which was in part due to the fact that we waited so long, and our deep dish had incorrect toppings. I was extremely dissatisfied. I tried my best to be understanding and patient because they are clearly short staffed, there was only 3 employees at the time. However, the whole kitchen is in our line of sight and after watching them, it was hard to be empathetic because they had NO hustle, and worked really slow in between bouts of standing there talking or checking...
Read moreVery much a re-skin of the former operation that was previously in place. Some new appliances for quicker pick-ups and the drinks cabinet is back too.
However the same poor, tight footprint remains unchanged, and more closed in than ever. With hundreds of pizza boxes, (still in their shipping wrap on the floor and over the drink cooler too) making the space too right for more than 3 people at a time
Food was mid at best - My pie and ICB was under cooked, leaning more doughy than it should have been, but not on the raw side. (Another two minutes would have helped).
Services were very far from the past experiences I have had before. Very poor with toppings and service on the phone was really lacking. (Not helped by having a minor taking calls for orders and working the register too)
(Key note - As of May 25th, 2024; No option to order online... Huge miss, as other locations are able to accommodate online and mobile ordering. Very disappointed that you can only order from the Marquette location, by phone or in person!)
Overall, it was ok at best, but other locations are way better. Sad to see it back in town, albeit in worse shape that when it left us originally - 1/5 and will not be...
Read moreLC was good for the most part when it up again but I just waited 48 minutes for one order of Italian bread and a pepperoni puff order? To be told the bread was still being made 32 minutes in and was told 5 more minutes and by the time I asked another person for it 10 minutes later, they also tried to tell me it should be coming out of the oven now but they'd go check. They pulled this box of cheese bread from the top shelf in the warming oven and the pepperoni puffs from the bottom and im pretty sure they put an old bread that was an extra, up in the warmer, and thought it would pass. Ive worked in enough pizza places to know how it works. Not one bit of the cheese was hot. The cheese and the bread itself you could tell was "old" in the sense that it was made an hour before. It's pretty pathetic for a 4" x 6" thing of cheese bread. Needless to say, I think I just had my last stop at LC already since it reopened. It's no longer quick, and no longer fresh (enough), still a decent price point but not for inedible food, might as well just throw my money in the garbage and in this day and age, that's a non negotiable...
