Togo's Original Submarine Shop in Marquette is and has always been one of Marquette’s landmark food destinations, I am delighted to say that growing up in Marquette, I have been enjoying Togo’s Sub long before they moving to their current location from the original location several decades ago. The service at Togo's in always outstanding. The staff members were not only friendly and approachable but also displayed a genuine enthusiasm for ensuring customers have a memorable experience. They were attentive without being intrusive, a delicate balance that added to the overall positive atmosphere. Togo’s have always been strong NMU supporter’s and our community as well. Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the Subs. Togo's has truly mastered the art of crafting sublime submarine sandwiches. The ingredients were of the highest quality, showcasing a dedication to freshness and flavor. Each bite was a symphony of tastes, and the menu offered an impressive variety of options to suit all preferences. The meticulous attention to detail in the preparation was evident, making every sandwich a work of culinary art. What truly sets Togo's in Marquette apart is the amazing efficiency in which the Togo’s team members work as a finely oil machine to ensure orders are prepared quickly with absolute perfection. The clean and well-maintained dining area, although small provides a comfortable and enjoyable space to savor the delightful meal. The atmosphere is always welcoming, making it an ideal spot for both a quick bite, leisurely meal, or grabbing a quick sub on the go. In conclusion, Togo's Original Submarine Shop in Marquette is a culinary oasis that deserves high praise. The combination of exceptional service, top-quality ingredients, and a welcoming atmosphere has made Togo’s a must dining destination. I wholeheartedly recommend Togo's to anyone seeking a superior submarine sandwich experience while in Marquette.

My husband was dying for me to give it a go and needless to say, I’m not impressed at all. The sandwich bread tastes a bit doughy, chicken tastes like they pulled it from a freezer bag and tossed it in a microwave. Also, I can’t even hold it, I’m just eating it from the wrapper, I wish I had a fork. But the sandwich wasn’t even the bad part of the visit OR the reason I felt the need to leave a review. The reason I felt that need was solely on the guy running the register. He had a poor attitude, we walked up and he didn’t even seem like he wanted to be there and I get it, I used to work at McDonald’s for 4.5 years, it can be an absolute nightmare, but that doesn’t excuse the rude manner in which he presented himself. My husband even said something about it and I just kinda shrugged it off, until he told his team something “wasn’t his problem”, loud enough for EVERYONE to hear. They ran out of something and it wasn’t his problem. LUCKILY they resolved the issue without him, not like he was much help anyway. But newsflash…. You’re a team; it is your problem. You cannot run a restaurant when you’re not using team work, and being besties with your enemies. When someone needs help, you help. I probably won’t return. It’s a very clean restaurant from where we were standing, that did impress us. The decorations and such were also fun to look at, along with the notes from one of the local elementary schools thanking them.

Togo’s is a fantastic local sub shop and a clear standout in Marquette. The menu is expansive with both hot and cold subs, including classic favorites and house specials. We ordered the Torpedo (a hot special) and a plain turkey and cheese—both were excellent. The 3-cheese Italian bread was especially good—fresh baked, soft, and loaded with flavor. No upcharge for premium bread either, which was a nice surprise. Toppings were fresh, meats and cheese were flavorful and well-portioned, and the overall value was great—two 9-inch subs came out to under $25. The inside space is small and intimate with a few tables, but it was clean, tidy, and well-run. It was busy when we visited, but service was fast and friendly. Shoutout to Dawson at the counter for being helpful and welcoming. The self-serve soda machine was out of order, but the staff offered drinks from behind the counter with no hassle at all, so nothing was lost. Great food, great value, and great service. A must-stop for lunch in Marquette.

Use to go to Togo's all the time when I lived in Marquette. This past weekend I was in town with my girlfriend and we wanted Togo's. We pulled up and the line was about 6 cars deep. We decided to stop anyway. We waited about 20 minutes to order then parked in the lot waiting for our food - 2 subs. After 25 minutes, all the cars in front of us had received their food as well as 12 cars behind us. I decided to call to see if there was an issue and they said they were just making our subs... It took another 20 minutes for them to bring our subs out! When I ask the lady, who brought out the subs, if there was an issue, she said "If you only waited 45 minutes, that is really good timing. I can't keep enough staff to stay open 7 days a week, but we are at full staff." There was no apology and no offer of a discount or anything. TERRIBLE customer service!!! If this how you treat your customers, it's no wonder you can't keep staff, because you probably treat them even worse... We will not be...
