My sister and I went to Qdoba today shortly after 3:30 PM. Upon entering, there were 4 workers in sight; one appeared to be a cook, one was prepping/cutting meat, another appeared to be fixing online orders, and the last one mixed some food appeared to be mixing food. Upon entering, we were not greeted and stood there for approximately 3 minutes going unacknowledged, not even a “I’ll be with you shortly.” During that time while waiting, the cook remained in the back, the lady cutting meat (small in stature, black button up short with a short ginger colored curly afro) commenced to engaging in a conversation about her man and other unprofessional topics including utilization of profanity, another lady stirred the food and then walked to the back, and the lady fulfilling mobile orders continued to fix them.
Once we decided to leave, the lady fulfilling mobile orders then asked, “Oh, so what ya’ll leaving?” I then responded stating “yes” and gave reasons including standing there not being acknowledged, the unprofessional conversation, etc. It appeared me identifying the unprofessional conversation as a reason triggered the shorter gingered hair lady who was cutting the meat because she then became belligerent, yelling and shouting expletives. My sister and I continued to exit the store. Once in the car I could see the lady left her position where she was originally standing cutting the meat, came towards the counter and commenced to make physically intimidating gestures towards us, while yelling. I was pulling out of the parking spot when a gentleman, dark complexioned with locs, was walking towards the store with a produce box. I asked if he was going to Qdoba. He said yes. At that point, I attempted to engage in conversation with him to explain what was going on. However, it was interrupted by the lady running out of the store, yelling and screaming under the guise of grabbing the produce box from him. Since he was already entering the store, there was no need for her to come out. I attempted to ask him for the store manager’s name. However, he appeared to be intimidated by her because at this point she was verbally assaultive. He threw his hands in the air saying, “this doesn’t have anything to do with me.” I am aware that he doesn’t work at that location. How do I know? Because the belligerent lady attempted to utilize that fact to ridicule me while I was attempting to speak with him and obtain a point of contact. I once again asked for the store manager’s name and the young lady who was verbally abusive identified herself as the store manager while continuing to fuss and cuss while other customers were attempting to enter and exit from the store. This continued until the lady who was previously fixing mobile orders “came out to get her” and apologized for her coworker’s actions, stating she thought the lady who went to the back when we initially came in the store greeted us. If your cameras in the store are working, all of this can be verified. Something needs to be done about the unprofessionalism exhibited in this store. If she is truly indeed the store manager, then shame on you for hiring someone as unprofessional and unstable as she appears to be based on actions displayed today.
I will never return to this store unless this is addressed. In fact, I drove all the way across town to the York Rd. location where before we even reached the counter we were acknowledged with a simple greeting, and they were cordial and professional throughout our entire...
Read moreFood was awesome, had the nachos. My issue with Qdoba ( all of them) is that when I say I want nachos they want to put the queso at the bottom of the bowl. When I tell them I don't want queso on the bottom they seem to catch an attitude. I had one young lady at the one on York Rd tell me it's not nachos if the queso is not at the bottom. At the one I visited recently Owings Mills; had the same issue. The problem this time was when I gave my order to the young lady the CSA in front of her decided to stop helping her customer to come and tell me that queso goes on the bottom of the bowl. I explained to her that's not how I wanted it. She proceeded to communicate with the CSA that was helping me in Spanish. I told her no matter which Qdoba I visit I get my nachos the same way. I politely told her to continue to assist your customer with his quesadilla my CSA could assist me. My issue is why is it such a big deal if I don't want my queso on the bottom as long as I pay for what I ordered. The Manager told me it's Qdoba policy or it would be considered a bowl. I would like to see the policy change to make it optional for the customer or have your employees make my food the way I want without all the back and forth. I usually just grin and bear it but this has become a problem. If I were to go Chik fa la and order the chicken sandwich without the pickle and change the cheese to colby jack ( which i do) that's what I get the price doesn't change. Please...
Read moreWorst experience ever. Every person in there should be fired. Complete unprofessionalism. STOP HIRING YOUNG PPL WITH NO REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE. I was greeted with a hostile attitude after my order didn't display my name.. Upon providing my receipt at the request of the cashier (which I did), I was antagonized by another female employee that i wasn't even speaking to, in a hostile manner. She then decided my calm pushback to proof of my receipt warranted a physical challenged to a fight. And after I was proved correct abt my order, told I was a liar. This person did not have their name badge on, and refused to provide their name. It was a young Black woman with blonde hair coloring. I'm a Black man, so this isn't racial. The level of disrespect displayed by this woman warrants her immediate termination. And her manager was present for her behavior. All of her co-workers supported her behavior despite the fact that it was clearly inappropriate and wildly disrespectful. Everyone but that manager should be replaced. I worked in Customer Service for over 20 years. NO respectable business would tolerate the behavior displayed by that employee, even if the customer was wrong. In this case I was right. The manager confirmed it. My receipt confirmed it. I expect to see...
