Everytime I go here I have to ask the staff to change their gloves and when I do they get an attitude. They touch everywhere with their gloves and think it's ok to come back in touch your food with the same gloves they just contaminated by touching everywhere. Food service workers please understand the gloves are needed to protect the food you are preparing. Not to protect your hands. I just encountered a situation last week here where a worker sneezed into the area at the end of her arm and I asked her could she change her glove because she sneezed right near the glove and she copped an attitude as if nothing was wrong. Did she not understand when you sneeze it can spread at least 6 feet and it's more possible the glove was then contaminated then not. She stormed to the back and another staff member came out with dirty gloves on to proceed to make the lady sandwich in front of me (no telling what she was doing with her gloves in the back). When she got to my food I asked her could she change her gloves. She changed them with attitude I guess in defense of her coworker. When she pulled the vinyl gloves off you could see how dirty her gloves were. I WILL NEVER EAT AT THIS JERSEY MIKES AGAIN. Establishments try to promote hiring our youth but they just don't get the concept of cleanliness and how it can effect the business. Some, not all, are just there to get a quick paycheck and don't have the passion to serve good customer service. There is only one worker there who I mentioned this to before and she seem to understand and although she may not want to change her gloves sometimes she just do it. Also at the end of the line when the food is wrapped and bagged they may have the same person taking money and wrapping and touching your food. Sometimes I've seen where this was done with gloves on and unconsciously I guess they didn't realize what they just did with their dirty glove in the midst of a rush. In the midst of a rush you have to be cognizant of the safety of the food. Cross contamination, cleanliness (including uniforms) are important and staff in food establishments need to be educated more. The uniforms there I've also seen were just filthy. Read moreThis store has horrible customer service. Angel the Manager is the worst and the employees follow her and now the food is following the bad atmosphere. They always have hard bread. Never fresh, very slow, get attitudes when you don't rush your order. I got tuna and it was not weighed. Everything is supposed ro be weighed. Stood ro the side and watched them grilling my food while engaging in horseplay. Dude told me I did not have to stand and watch them making my food so he could continue to get his conversation going. This place needs a visit from the health department. This is a public place and the Manager Angel told me I do not have to come in to this place. Accused me of taking photos of employees. Nottttt. She does not like that I come in and always catch them slipping. They should be honest admit, they are slack. They play entirely too much when customers are in the store and throw the food together any type of way. Don't bother calling the headquarters. Read moreI order from this location often and I can say it's always been very good service ( even through Delivery apps). However today, We visited the location and they were out of white bread. We were offered other options, however my son would only want the option they didn't have so we declined and said no thanks we won't order at this time.
A worker that wasn't even waiting on us, overhead the conversation and immediately stopped us as we were leaving to give complimentary coupons for the subs we didn't order because they were out of bread. I really would like him to know that it was REALLY appreciated. With customer service overall lacking everywhere, it meant Alot that he recognized we drove in for subs and weren't able to purchase so he offered us an incentive to return.
He could have simply let us walk out. As soon as he gave us the card you heard a customer, who might I add purchased the option given to them ask ," why didn't you give me a card" 🤣 . It just really made me appreciate us spending our money here even...
