I work at golden Ring Plaza, so when I left work today my husband said stop and get a sandwich for our dinner, I saw Jimmy Johns and stopped we have never eaten there, when I walked in and up to the counter a young lady at a sink on the left Tabatha, looked at me never said anything and looked at me again after the third time, I said are you going to take my order and what I should have done is left, she came over never said anything I said hello and that I would like to order 2 sandwiches, I told her what I wanted still thinking I should just leave, she said go over there and wait for it she took one of the sandwiches slammed it on the counter and said to me you can put it in the bag so I reached over the counter and got a bag and put my sandwich in it, looking at a big pickle sign on the wall saying don’t forget the pickle, so I told her don’t forget the pickle well no pickles for me and my husband, not even a napkin, wow how can you have people working for you like this, I will never grace your business with my hard earned dollar where I say hello, good morning, how can I help you, thank you for shopping with us and have a great day, to every patron that comes to my department. Read moreOur hospital orders from JJs all the time. We order large catering orders monthly. Today was horrible. I placed an order on last THURSDAY for a MONDAY morning delivery at 11:30am (the next week)! They had four days to prepare for this order. The order was only for 30 people to eat and a few party platters. I had to call 6 times and our order was NOT delivered to after 1:45pm! Two hours later. I was told the best they could do was 25% on the next order which we will NEVER make again. The sandwiches were sloppy and they told us the order was late due to the store being busy and having another catering order coming to the same hospital. They weren’t even labeled. If we have to pay in advanced for catering orders then they should take priority over the store. If they were short staffed then the door should be locked until the order is complete. Our hospital is a big customer and it’s very disappointing that we will be unable to use this business moving forward. We’ve learned a lesson to check our food immediately and not leaving especially since we live 40 minutes away from this location. My husband got a turkey & bacon unwich…. Well it was rarely any turkey on it, the bacon was not cooked and the lettuce was wilted.
I got that Italian wrap… NO TOMATOES requested. Well of course when I got home there were tomatoes on my wrap. Not to mention, I am allergic to tomatoes so luckily I unwrapped the wrap prior to eating.
Again, we got home and discovered what was wrong with our sandwiches and threw them away. Money wasted but most importantly made incorrectly, when I requested no tomatoes something I am allergic to.
In addition, it should have been a red flag when the two workers took forever to make our sandwiches and they was no one else in there but us. They were friendly; however, what mattered...
