I have ordered from this location 3 times prior to today and had excellent service and food. Today when I placed an online order the app was not operating properly, I was not provided an order number and I could not track my order. However, I was happy to find that my order went through albeit the order was missing the request for square cut as opposed to slices. I was then majorly disappointed when I got home and the took slice only to find that the double sauce request had not been honored. The pizza was bone dry and you could see white dry bread when you removed the toppings. I called to ask if another pizza could be made but I was greeted by ERICA. Erica answered the phone and when I asked to speak with a supervisor or manager she took a moment and responded, "that would be me." I explained my concern and she told me she had made my pizza herself and she had put double sauce on it. Funny because when I picked the pizza up a gentleman at the register said he had made my pizza. This comment was made after I had mentioned the app problem, of which he confirmed others had experienced. He commented, we got your order but I did not see a request for the square cut you mentioned. We discussed the order further we me asking about the garlic sauce crust and he responded, "oh I got that and it is on there." Needless to say I was happy with this spot until I had the rude,"well what do you want me to do response from ERICA." Maam if you argue with a customer and then respond with that verbiage, do you really think they want your hands in their food???? NO THANK YOU. I wasn't asking for a refund, just a proper remake of my order. I need not come here again, I will stick with the mainstream pizza joints that aim to please customers instead of doing battle...
Read moreI placed an order at 10:46 am for 4 pizzas, 2 orders of 10 buffalo wings, 1 order of 6 buffalo wings and brownies for a school event with a 12:30 pm requested delivery time. My total was over $155.00. I tracked the status of my order at 12:10 pm and it said the kitchen staff is preparing your order. I then called the restaurant to see if it would be delivered on time and was told that the driver would be back in 10 minutes. I informed the guy on the phone that I would be there to get the order and deliver it myself. I get to the store and my order was not even ready. I waited 15 more minutes in the store for it to be prepared. One of the orders of wings was lemon pepper when I asked for buffalo and the order for 6 wings was not even prepared. I had to rush out of the store, deliver the food myself, and then return to the store to get the delivery fee, tip, and cost of the 6 wings refunded to my card. I was not compensated for my inconvenience. Myself and my sister then call the store and speak to Romelo and he offered to have my next delivery free. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. It appears that this store is not equipped to handle large orders and needs better management. I'm waiting on a return call from their corporate office and will certainly inform them of the terrible management at this store. Read moreMarco's the brand is awesome. As a Toledoan (where it is headquartered), I grew up with this pizza. I was excited to learn that it had finally made its way to the east coast. I have tried this location THREE times. Each time has been worse than the previous. First, they refuse to honor any online deals that are a staple of Marco's. Second, They staff this location with workers who are wholly ghetto, unprofessional, and disrespectful. The managers are unwilling to correct the behavior so they need to be fired too. This location is So far from the brand I grew up with and how it operates in its home city and state that it is unrecognizable. Today, my husband went in and the employee refused to honor the discounts on the website. Without any reason, they flat out refused. He then quoted him one price and charged him another. When he noticed that on the receipt he tried to get a refund for the difference. The employee was toxic and disrespectful to my husband. This boy is a reason people get violent in this area. It was uncalled for and totally disrepsectful. The manager endorsed this behavior and refunded my husband's money and refused to serve us. There was no effort to correct the behavior.
