Noodles and Company — Restaurant in Maryland

We stopped in for what used to be an incredible place to eat but what the HECK has happened recently? From the quality of the food to the customer service, this place was horrible. When we get to the counter we were greeted by one of the most stand offish, no customer service skilled persons we've ever had the displeasure of speaking to. There was no Hello, Hi, Welcome, How can I assist you. Instead he seemed as if we were being a burden to him and he told us that if we wanted something it would take 25 minutes. We told him we were fine with that and then he went back to doing other things rather than take our order right then, for almost 5 minutes we were standing there not being helped. When we finally got to order it just felt like we needed to hurry or rush through it as he seemed very disengaged and disinterested in helping us. WE SHOULD HAVE CANCELED OUR ORDER AND LEFT RIGHT THEN, but for some reason we stayed and waited and waited waited and waited for almost 35 minutes before our order was ready. When we got it, needless to say we were thoroughly unimpressed. We have eaten here plenty of times in the past (like maybe a year and a half ago as we rarely get to this side of town anymore because we moved) and can honestly say it was great. They must have someone new managing this place because it has become an absolute train wreck. One of the items we ordered was a Caesar salad and it did not come with any dressing so I went to the counter to ask for some and the person behind the prep area asked me why and what for, WHAT kind of question is that to a customer? Does it matter what I needed it for, it's a salad dressing, a condiment for goodness sake. Just give me the silly Caesar dressing. They make you really feel like you are unwelcome here and that they could care less about earning your business. Needless to say we WILL NOT be returning to this location until they get it back in order. Too many other good restaurants to choose from in the area that can...

Well let me say I went in with maybe to big of expectations having never been to Noodles & Company....It I was definitely not a great decision to come here. Maybe it was just on a bad day or what.

But when me and my friend arrived we were 2 of now 3 customers in the store, greeted nicely everything was going alright. Then the cashier kinda of got real heated about a Man coming in the store asking for some food and he had no money so after cashier told him NO he went outside and searched through the trash can. She then left in the middle of our order to go outside and tell him to leave.

SO after ALLLLLL that finally I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Mac N Cheese......that was a mistake. Buffalo Mac N Cheese is NOT a good mix. I found myself scrapping all the extra buffalo sauce that was on there to the side So I can eat some of the Man N Cheese. The chicken wasn't bad But the buffalo sauce was not a good choice mixed with Mac n cheese....so not really their fault. But the worst part was that my friend got all his food 15 WHOLE MINUTES before me while I watched him eat I had to wait.

So after im finally done trying to force myself to eat the bowl of food I ordered I was greeted with a OFF THE CLOCK EMPLOYEE to come "take my plates" ONLY cause she seen a $5 bill placed on the table. Only after the cashier came that was heated came out and told her to not work while she was off the clock. Basically another employee trying to take the tip that someone else actually deserves. THEN when she takes me plate she spills the soy sauce just a bit on my friend and herself.

I WILL NOT BE REVISITING. Like other reviewers posted. Everyone kinda seemed miserable to be there. Felt it the second we came...

I think this is a really good concept, but poorly put together. The menu was a bit difficult to navigate. Thought it would be more like build your own, which would be a great idea. We get our order in, and all the tables were pretty dirty. There was not a lot of seating. The only one not covered in cheese bits and other food was around where they had people directed to get their pickup orders. So we were constantly having people standing around us waiting.

We had to wait for quite awhile to get our food, it was rather busy with pickups, which made it uncomfortable since people were standing next to us. We finally got our food, and it was barely warm. The cheese was cold and could not melt since the noodles had no heat. The spinach was completely raw in my dish.

We also got an order of their Mac and cheese. There was a scattering of black stuff in it, which I assume was seseame seeds (I hope). They must have let them fall into it from their asian ingredients. The noodles were hard and barely edible. And again, this was cold with cheese that couldn't melt on top. Then you got hard crunches like eating sand every few bites. We could not finish it.

We tried to leave, we had to look around for the garbage. We finally found it around the corner behind a wall. The garbage was overflowing to the point we had to set it on the sides.
