GameStop — Local services in Ferndale

I have been going to this GameStop ever since I was a child. My GameCube came from here, my PS1 and 2 came from here. My game boy advanced, SP and DS came from here. My Nintendo Wii came from here and in more recent years my Nintendo switch has come from here too. This place brings back so many good memories of my childhood It's always so much fun to just go in there and walk around Even if you don't plan on buying anything. When I was a child I used to go and buy a used game, I would go home and I would play the entire game in one sitting and the next day we would go back and return it and get another game. I did this often enough that the staff definitely knew what I was doing But I guess it did not directly affect them so they didn't really care. This is just a good place to go and bring back memories and I recommend it...

Customer service is very awkward. My 30 year old husband went in bought uncharted and wanted skyrim. The cashier asked for a i.d because it was rated "m" I understand because we worked retail as well. So as we questioned the common sense of gmestop we went to the store over by the tag and title place. No we aren't regular there. Bought the same game we tried getting this location. No questions asked and the cashier was very engaging with our visit. It's Petty I understand but it's just sad to see how small a mind can think in such a simple observation. Needless to say I don't recommend this place, just go to the next location. Could just used your brain to see we're there to spend money not lie about age trying to get cigarettes. Every time I have come to this location it has been great. I know GameStop as a company is not always easy to work at. They deal with a lot. You wouldn’t know that by how the employees treat their customers. Everyone is helpful, patient, and personable. I came for the midnight release of Zelda ToTK and everything was very organized. I know the employees were tired. They were on top of their game though and everything went very well. Even offered us snacks and some Super Smash Bros to pass the time.
