Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Ferndale

This is the closest location to my home and my family and I frequent this place at least twice a week. It was always great customer service and speedy service up until a few weeks ago. On the first visit of terrible service, I made my breakfast order in the app and then had to sit in the drive thru line for over 20 mins just to get up to the speaker and be told that breakfast is now over and I have to order from the lunch menu. I told them that my order was already completed and the reason that it’s now past breakfast is because of their line. The gentleman told me he’s sorry but corporate is now taking over and they are not allowing breakfast food to be served after 1030. I found this very weird because before the switch to corporate, they would be out with tablets to make sure everyone in line would have their order in before breakfast was over. And if you aren’t doing that, you should at least honor the order that was made 15 mins BEFORE breakfast was over. I was super disappointed and upset and asked that he cancel my order and I left. The second time was a few days after that incident and I waited in the drive thru lane for 25-30 mins and once reaching the drive thru window, I wasn’t even given as much as an “I apologize for the long wait” from the staff. Again yesterday I went and was in line for 20 mins for FAST FOOD. How is it fast food when I’m waiting in line 20+ mins!?!? Also they forgot my sons ice cream cup so I had to pull in a curbside space and call in the restaurant to have them bring it to me. This Chick-Fil-A’s service was spectacular and is the main reason I decided to give them a 5 star review. The place was overcrowded and we had to save a seat while someone else ordered for us. The drive thru was backed up to the entrances and the parking was filled up. When we ordered and got our drinks from the cashier, we went to go sit down. When we sat down and put our straws in the cups the lady with our food was their already! Not only that, but the food was delicious! The flavory chicken sandwich meal with a chocolate milkshake filled me up, not only with food, but with joy! When we were done eating a employe went up to us and asked if she could throw our trash away for us. Not only that by y’all the tables were wiped down after every meal and fresh flowers were on every table! Also their process of a good service was amazing. Not only they have 2 drive thru windows, they had 4 lady’s with tablets outside also taking orders. This way people were in and out fast and more customers could be treated with the finest employees and food around! Also the app was fascinating. U order your food from the app and go to reserves parking spaces, then when your food is done it’s brought out to u. I used to love this location until today. My girlfriend and I ordered a 12ct meal each and a kids meal for our daughter. When our food was brought out we counted our nuggets like we always do and realized both of our 12ct nuggets only had 11. Not a big deal things happen especially when your busy. The problem comes in when I went back up to the counter and told the woman working there that both of our nuggets were one short she laughed right in my face. Then said so your telling me that both of your nuggets were short one?? I said yes and she turned to the gentleman behind me still laughing mind you and says to him this guy is trying to say that both of his 12ct nuggets were one short. The proceeded to whisper where I couldn't hear what they were saying. I got angry and said so what your calling me a liar I haven't even touched my food check the cameras. They ignored me so I returned to me seat angry mumbling under my breath angrily. A few mins goes by and the girl brings me out a box with exactly 2 nuggets inside and says here's your nuggets that you supoosodly didn't get. I was beyond disrespected and unless they do something to right their wrong it will be quite some time before I return to chic fila in general and I will never return to this location.
