Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Maryland

First off, the staff is completely uneducated. When you walk in, there is a sign suggesting that if you download the app you will get a free chip and dip add-on. When you get to the register however, and mention to the people behind the counter that you have downloaded the app, all they respond with is "okay". When we ordered our food we realized we did not get our free chips. The lady we asked, very nicely I might add, about the situation said and I quote "it is not my responsibility to tell you to scan your phone". This ended in an uproar argument between my husband and 3 employees. After we left they took it a step further and notified my husband's command. (He is Active Duty Air Force... 19 years and counting with 5 tours under his belt). In the email to his command, it was mentioned that he was belligerent and disrespectful in front of the entire restaurant which was full of patrons and that is just the nicer things they said. In reality, they should have taken responsibility for not being knowledgeable enough to show a customer how to enjoy their restaurant. The worst part is, all we wanted was for them to comp the chips we paid for since they were supposed to be free. They never even offered to do so and instead chose to argue from moment one about how it was our fault. Furthermore, we never gave any of our personal information to these people so they had to have taken my husband's name from the transaction and researched him on social media before finding his profession and notifying his command. Ok, sure southern California (the region within the state of California) is a hard place to compete against when it comes to Hispanic inspired food but basic culinary standards shouldn't be that hard.

So my burrito was one cold as if out of the fridge even though it was just recently made, two wetter than a dog in a river and three wrapped into a stubby looking turd. I unwrapped it, dried it and got annoyed by the fact I can't have a cold burrito because the meat was cold (carnitas) the girl serving me didn't bother draining the tomatoes or corn and her poor wrapping job spilled inside the wrapping and made it a wet burrito. So I ask them to fix and they wrap it in foil and put it on the same grill that doesn't even heat up your tortilla..and when I got it back nothing changed, it was still very cold.

A quesadilla was ordered and other things but cheese and tortilla were in it when it was just cheese and tortilla. Nachos, easy to get right, no same cold ass meat, oh and before anyone says I could've tried other meats I did and the chicken was dry, the steak was dryer than the desert and the ground beef was like eating sand.

So yeah, I'm done with this place and it's sad because the staff who appeared not to give two flying fuc#$ when I came in really made it clear I wasn't welcomed and this place was not going to be worth the $30 we were...

Extremely Poor customer service. Walked in at 6:01 pm today to get some nachos for my Super Bowl gathering. A lady that was there after I was standing in line for a minute told me she could not make me nachos because they closed at 6 pm. When I looked down at my phone while arguing with this individual to please serve me it was only 6 02. I told her it was only 6 02 and to once again please serve me. She stated that she could not serve me because she had taken the spoon out of the meat containers. Then she proceeded to tell me that they had a sign out all weekend stating that the closed at 6 today. I checked their hours online and it was supposed to be open until 8. She was rude and disrespectful while stating that it wasn’t her problem that I didn’t know about their paper sign. I will never be returning to this location even again. And it’s a shame because unfortunately I don’t have another location to choose from. I have worked in customer service ( 8 yrs on food and beverage service) in the past and I have never received or seen such poor...
