Went there around 5 on the Friday of St Patrickās Day weekend and it was virtually empty, which we found odd being that itās the only Irish pub in Towson. They didnāt have booster seats or high chairs for our 2 year old which was no big deal. Bartender/server was very nice. We ordered fish and chips and a Reuben but they were somehow out of chips? At 5 pm on a Friday? Kind of bizarre. Food ended up taking a literal hour. Server apologized multiple times and took an entree off our check, but it didnāt make any sense since the place was very empty. We didnāt even eat the fish since it was grey and looked very odd. Reuben was good. Itās a shame since the bar itself was really cool. We may give it another chance - drinks only.
Edit: my son had a small piece of the fish and threw up an hour later. So our hesitance was confirmed that the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe atmosphere was warm and inviting. The waiters and waitresses were pretty nice, but it seemed like they were also sharing the duty as the bartender as well so it took awhile to get the check after we were done with our food. We only got entrees and no appetizer and/or dessert. My bangers and mash was good, but my boyfriend's fish and chips were dry. The water tasted like it was flavored, and when I mentioned that to the waiter, he said I wasn't the only person to comment on that (I don't think it is supposed to taste like it's flavored). Lastly, when I got up from sitting down, I noticed a dead cockroach next to me. I had no idea that was there until we left. Not coming back. Biggest focus of the place is the bar side and...

Not a huge space, so it gets pretty crowded on the weekends, but it's a pretty chill spot to come and grab a drink on the weekdays. Typical Irish pub decor with Guiness pictures, old wooden barrels, etc. The lighting is a little on the dark side.
Food was surprisingly good. Decent price for your some pub fare, mostly sausages and Irish bar food, but it's good for what it is.
It's an overall nice bar. Probably one of my...
