We came here today with high hopes and were continuously disappointed during our meal. We waited at least 5 minutes at our table before even being acknowledged. Then the waitress, possibly Lisa, tapped my husband on the shoulder and said she'll be with us. The couple seated next to us, who came after us, but were under different wait staff received their drinks before us. We ordered the French toast, veggie omelette and nachos. Instead of the omelette, we received eggs Benedict, which we immediately returned. Waitress Lisa apologized and said they'll get the omelette out, but it didn't feel as if our omelette was made on a priority basis. My husband ate the nachos, which were delicious with super crispy chips, and I ate the French toast, which was dry but decent with all the syrup added on. The omelette finally came and it was loaded with veggies and with potatoes on the side but it packed flavor, ie salt. Then we asked for a box for the nachos and Waitress Lisa said sure but walked by 3-4 times with people's checks and drinks. Finally, I asked another server for a box. By the way, the couple that came after us and received their order before us were already packed with the to-go boxes. The other server brought us a box and we finally got the check. I'm not sure if our waitress was just overwhelmed or if she had something else going on in her mind but my husband and I were definitely not on her mind. Other staff and tables didn't seem to have any problems. There are a handful of veggie options and the location is great with the view of the ocean. Sitting by the windows while it rained was lovely and I really enjoyed the view.

Betty's Beach Cafe sits on this cute little mall that had a small town feel to it. It had a very nice view of the ocean and when we arrived, the luau was getting set up, it was too early and bright when we got there. They have happy hour from 2pm -5pm with the House Margarita for $3 only and the Mojito at $5, add $2 for a double. The drinks were really good and were the real deals, NOT the prepackaged fake tasting kind. We also got the Ceviche for $6.00 and it came with nacho chips. The food was fresh and tasty, the server suggested hot sauce and a tad of salt to pump up the flavor and it certainly did just that. I highly recommend checking this place out, the service was excellent, the lady who attended to us was very friendly and attentive and was helpful as we observed her assisting one of the other customers trying to maneuver her way into a nice big lobster. The price was definitely excellent by Maui standards and they didn't skimp on the alcohol and mix taste was perfect. Finding parking can be a challenge but there are several options like a free parking lot about a block and a half away. There is also a paid parking across the street plus there is street parking which would be easy to find depending on what time you do.

We loved this place and we think it is so underrated! We came 3 times during our trip. Right on the ocean, can’t beat the view! First we came for breakfast. $5 pog juice mimosas which were delicious and had a good amount of champagne in them. We each had the messy betty and I got a Mac nut banana pancake on the side. Both were delicious. We also came for happy hour twice. They have drink and food specials from 2-5pm. The bartenders (Caroline and Adrienne) were lovely both times and we chatted for a while. I had double margaritas for $10 and they made them with a good amount of tequila! We also tried the kalua pork quesadilla and it was delicious. This place seemed very quite the times we were there and it is on Front St a little farther away from from the hustle and bustle. If you are looking for a great breakfast right on the ocean, then this is the place for you. Don’t sleep on this bar! All of the staff was very welcoming and kind. I’ll be back on my next Hawaii trip!

Breakfast in Maui Day 3 started with a beautiful morning yet the pain of knowing food is expensive and flavorless. A quick search gave us Betty which was cheaper than $90 breakfast at the Hyatt. Betty is located in a beautiful shopping center yet parking is limited so take advantage, if you can, of the parking lot in front that charges $12 for all day. Betty's is located in the back and it's so attractive inside with a view of the sea. If you thought of a gorgeous day with a meal by the sea..THIS IS THE PLACE. You have the stereotypical breakfast for kids and a good selection of food for adults on the menu. Kids had French toasts and pancakes. Mom macadamia banana nut pancakes and I had spinach bacon omelette. The kids and adult portions were good. The pancakes had some flavor yet nothing to crow about on this review. The eggs had zero flavor. We needs to add salt to bring them to life. The cheese in the omelette gave some bit a kick. I do believe that Don Ho blew way too many tiny bubbles in Hawaii...they cleaned all the flavor from the food. I wouldn't return here other than to have...
