This is one of the best burgers you can experience, let me explain. I have had many, many burgers from many places and in many states as I travel a lot. The best burgers are freshly ground, smash burgers with very melted cheese on each patty. This kind of burger beats Gordon Ramsay's burgers in Las Vegas any day. His aren't particularly good in my opinion. Red Robin has pretty good burgers for a chain restaurant. Dog Haus has great burgers, Smash burgers are good. One burger that isn't smashed but still good is Astro Burger (aka Apollo Burger aka Crown Burger). The burger here is in top 3 I've ever had. The owner and staff are some of the nicest people you will meet. The owner spent 15+ minutes talking to a customer about how to get started in the food truck business. He genuinely wanted to help and has contacts to set this guy up with. One of the employees was also so nice and happy to be working there, probably because he knows how good the burgers are. You will spend around 20-30 USD or a little more or a little less depending on how many patties you get. It is worth it and reasonably priced. You also get a drink and amazing fries with a very good sauce. I also want to make sure to point out that all the ingredients are top notch and carefully sourced. The owner (I wish I got his name, I forgot!) takes pride in this food and it results in an amazing product. This is wagyu beef, local sourced Japanese milk bread hamburger buns made fresh from a bakery, crisp pickles, lettuce, onion and tomato (I got the P10). The moment you go to bite it you smell the amazing bun, then you taste the juicy, charred/caramelized beef and sauce. It's one of those burgers that gets better with each bite and the last bite is as good or better than the first, or the middle bite! Best burger on Maui! Ive been to maui several times and this place makes a Bada** burger. Quality ingredients and cooked perfectly. Sidewinder fries are delicious. Also add bbq sauce to your burger its 👌🏻🤙🏻. Being from texas and from my travels, ive eaten at a lot of burger places. This place makes my top 3 burger places ive ever eaten. Had it twice on this trip, trying to squeeze in a third (im here for 10 days). If i dont make it a third time ill definitely be back next year. Its a must try! The owner is also very friendly. To some saying its too expensive or price being high, you should know what to expect when you come to the islands- cost of living, ingredients, and labor are a lot more than most places on mainland. This food truck is located inside a food truck park at 22 Alahele Place. There are many food options there. They are probably all good. However, if it's a hand crafted, fresh, from scratch, juicy, and flavorful burger, then look no further. The fries have a good and distinct seasoning as well. The owner is kind and personable. He does his best to make you feel as if you're his only favorite customer. Seriously. Everyone he interacted with, he seemed to try to personalize it. Those things go a long way. It does with me. Everything is priced separately (burger, fries, drink), but he'll easily make it a meal discount, especially if you're ordering for more than 1. All in all, you will not be disappointed.
