Penny's Ice Cream Parlor & Cafe — Restaurant in Maui

I traveled to Maui for the first time this past week and ended up eating here 5 times in the span of 3 days (it would have been more but we only discovered them half way through our trip).

First and foremost, all of the ice cream flavors here are so delicious and taste incredibly high quality! I sampled quite a few but always defaulted back to my favorite which was the lemon curd flavor (rocky road and coffee were tied for second). I went with a fairly large group and everyone was always super happy with their flavors.

I also came for breakfast twice and really enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches! They mentioned the sourdough english muffins come from a local baker and you could definitely tell that all of their ingredients are high quality. My partners dad got the acai bowl and said it was delicious (only thing was it could have used a bit more granola)

Now that that the food quality has been established as top notch, I can't say enough positive things about the family and staff running the business. They were super kind and accommodating and you can really tell they put a lot of pride behind their shop. I can’t say enough good things about this place! This family-owned shop is an absolute gem! I stopped in for breakfast and was blown away, the breakfast sandwich was incredible! Fresh, perfectly cooked, and made with ingredients that you can tell are top quality. You can really taste the care they put into sourcing so many of their ingredients locally.

And then, of course, the ice cream… next-level delicious! Rich and full of real flavor, it’s some of the best I’ve had anywhere with some awesome unique flavors. You can tell it’s made with love and premium ingredients, not the mass-produced stuff.
